There are a lot of deserving names in the WWE Hall of Fame. However, there are also quite a few just as deserving that are yet to be inducted.

Wrestling is dissimilar to other sports in a number of ways. Most notably, it isn't technically a sport. It also has multiple halls of fame, which can make things a little confusing. The Wrestling Observer has its own hall of fame, as does the Cauliflower Alley Club, and even Impact Wrestling.

However, when someone in wrestling is referred to as a hall of famer, it usually means they have been inducted into WWE's prestigious elite. Some don't see it as the most legitimate hall of fame in wrestling, especially since it has a celebrity wing that includes the likes of Mike Tyson and Snoop Dogg. But like it or not, WWE is the standard in wrestling and until that changes, its hall of fame will be the hall of fame.

Another element of WWE's HOF that bugs some people is a few of the wrestlers who are yet to make it in. There are a handful of competitors from the past yet to be inducted and that baffles some. Take Mick Foley, for instance. Foley is a HOFer, but he doesn't understand why the late, great Vader is not. Foley admitted as much to Vader's son on Twitter this week.

"In my opinion, Vader’s absence is the most glaring and obvious omission from the #WWEHOF," Foley tweeted in reply to Vader's son. The original tweet was posted to Vader's Twitter account, which his son now controls, and celebrated Vader and Foley's match from Halloween Havoc 1993. Apparently, Foley was one of Vader's all-time favorite opponents.

There have been a number of wrestlers who fans believe to be WWE HOF-worthy. With each passing year, that group continues to get smaller. Chyna was once at the top of that pile but made it in as a part of DX. British Bulldog is also in that group, but will eventually be inducted once the 2020 class can be. As for Vader, we're sure Foley isn't the only one who believes he is a glaring omission. He'll make it in one day, it's just a shame he won't be around to see it.
