Asuka will not only face Sasha Banks for the Raw Women's Title at SummerSlam, but she will also take on Bayley for the SmackDown Championship too.
Bayley and Sasha Banks hold all the gold in WWE's women's division right now. Whether you love it or not, that's the way it is. There was an assumption that SummerSlam would be where Banks and Bayley's friendship would come to its untimely end. For whatever reason, that is not the case, but WWE is starting to plant the seeds.
On Raw this week, Bayley went up against Asuka with a SummerSlam shot at The Boss on the line. Not for Bayley, of course, but if The Empress could beat Bayley, she would get a shot at Banks on August 23. That's what happened, and The Boss was understandably pretty upset. Her record in PPV title matches isn't exactly stellar.

As for who Bayley will be defending her title against at SummerSlam, that was decided on SmackDown this week. Superstars from all three WWE brands competed in a battle royal and the last woman left in the ring will get to face Bayley. Banks and Bayley decided to announce the competitors as they entered the ring until they reached a name they weren't expecting to see.
Bayley started to scramble, shuffling through the cards as she asked if someone had made a mistake. Before they could say the name on the card, Asuka's music hit and The Empress sprinted to the ring. The rest of the Superstars in the match then filtered out so the match could begin. After a lot of action, it came down to the final two: Asuka and Shayna Baszler.
Baszler had been running roughshod during the match and tried to eliminate Asuka in the same way as she had eliminated others. By throwing her out onto the apron and then choking her out with the Kirifuda Clutch. What Baszler didn't bank on was The Empress pulling her up over the ropes and dumping her on the floor below. That means Asuka will have two title matches at SummerSlam and could take both away from Banks and Bayley.
