Luck is a huge part of success in wrestling, but some names have benefited from it more than others. A combination of talent, hard work, and the right timing are all needed to get to a noteworthy role in wrestling. Some talents have been in fortunate situations more than others to take advantage of the good luck in WWE.

Other scenarios have seen wrestlers lucking out due to having friends in high places. These different levels of luck have all played out huge for the following wrestlers to be the luckiest in WWE history.
10 Seth Rollins
The WWE career of Seth Rollins has benefited from being in the right place at the right time, multiple times. NXT essentially saved Rollins' career as he was chosen to be the first NXT Champion after revealing he was almost fired at one point.

WWE also gave Rollins the biggest moment of his career due to the luck of needing someone else to win the Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar main event at WrestleMania 31. Fans booing Roman caused WWE to change plans, and Rollins cashing in Money in the Bank to become WWE Champion was an all-time moment.
9 JBL
WWE utilized Bradshaw as a tag team wrestler and lower mid-carder for a long time prior to the JBL character. Every singles push before then failed, but Vince McMahon wanted to give him another chance with a new character.
The timing of JBL debuting came when Eddie Guerrero needed a new challenger for the WWE Champion. WWE also wanted a heel to hold the title for a long run before John Cena dethroned them at WrestleMania 21. This luck gave JBL a lengthy reign just months after he was still a secondary wrestler on the brand.
8 Brutus Beefcake
WWE signing Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake came as a favor to Hulk Hogan when he was the top overall star with influence. Hogan’s power led to Beefcake getting a push as a face character, even hosting his own talk show segment.
There were a few upper-card pushes where Beefcake teamed with Hogan as The Mega Maniacs, despite fans not viewing him at that level. WWE inducting Beefcake into their Hall of Fame is a testament to how much luck went his way given his talent level.
7 The Great Khali
The luck of The Great Khali saw his entire career coming without any noteworthy talent in the ring or on the microphone. Khali received the best possible debut, squashing The Undertaker in segments and beating him clean in a match.
The World Heavyweight Championship reign of Khali even came from luck when Edge suffered an injury and WWE needed a last-minute change. Khali stuck around for years doing the bare minimum to have a Hall of Fame-worthy career.
6 Sgt. Slaughter
Another wrestler to benefit from being in the right place at the right time was Sgt. Slaughter. WWE realized it was time to give up on The Ultimate Warrior's WWE Championship reign ahead of WrestleMania 7.
Slaughter received a massive heel push, beating Warrior to win the top priz,e and adopting an anti-American traitor gimmick to feud with Hulk Hogan. The legend status of Slaughter was made during this program.
5 The Ultimate Warrior
Even though his title reign ended earlier than he expected, The Ultimate Warrior had too much good luck on his side to ever complain about it. WWE pushed Warrior due to him catching lightning in a bottle with colorful face paint and energetic music, making his presentation a success.

Warrior became the first wrestler to cleanly beat Hulk Hogan since he became the face of the company. WWE gave the keys to the castle to Warrior without that period of proving he was worthy, like most other top stars of the Golden Era.
4 Sycho Sid
The push of Sycho Sid saw him becoming a main-eventer against all odds. Multiple injuries in 1996 opened opportunities for Sid to become a main event heel. His first WWE Championship reign came when Sid defeated Shawn Michaels due to WWE wanting a title change after fans turned on Michaels.
Another title run for Sid came due to luck when Michaels retired due to “losing his smile” ahead of WrestleMania 13. Sid won the WWE Championship and received a second WrestleMania main event to put over The Undertaker.
3 Kevin Nash
The signing of Kevin Nash to play Diesel by WWE was meant for him to play Shawn Michaels’ bodyguard, and that's all. Vince McMahon signed Nash due to Michaels seeing him on WCW television and feeling he could be a big part of his act.
Diesel’s face turn came when Vince fell in love with his presentation and somehow had him win the WWE Championship before Michaels did. The push was among the most abrupt in WWE history as Diesel only turned on Michaels a few days before his title win.
2 Sable
WWE didn’t anticipate Sable being a long-term part of the company when doing a guest spot as Marc Mero’s real-life wife. The storyline of her accompanying Triple H to the ring and getting fired by him led to a longer run with Mero.
Vince McMahon loved the fan response to Sable and started to give her a bigger push. Mero ended up becoming the secondary part of the act, and even lost to Sable when they split up. Sable ended up having one of the most successful careers for a woman in WWE, despite not originally meant to be on the roster.
1 Triple H
There were multiple moments of great luck helping the career of Triple H. Early on, Triple H becoming friends with The Kliq helped his career since he was the least over wrestler to get protected by their booking influence.
The end of The Kliq saw Triple H struggling until he was able to get his girlfriend Chyna hired as his bodyguard, which saved his first heel act. WWE adding Stephanie McMahon as his love interest in 2000 was the greatest luck he ever had, as he was finally the top heel for the company and became a bigger influence backstage as time went by.
