The WWE superstar was a recent guest on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. The show was centered on COVID-19 conspiracy theories and the host needed some serious backup for this one. Again, none other than John Cena.

The 16-time World Champion came on toward the end of the show to give his take on the matter, all while getting undressed.

"There's a lot of official-looking stuff on the internet, not all of it's true," he said. "And there's some stuff that seems false but isn't, like this one: John Oliver and I are the exact same age. Yep, born on the same year and on the exact same day. That seems impossible that two human bodies can age so differently, but it's true. I checked, and it's important to do that. So before you go believing a theory about the pandemic or share any information about the pandemic, it's good to know where that information is coming from."

So... What About Wrestling?

Cena hasn't appeared on WWE programming since WrestleMania 36, when he lost to The Fiend in the first-ever Firefly Fun House match. Despite matches coming few and far between, Cena has been with WWE since 2002. Fans weren't sure what to make of the cryptic message he delivered during said match.

There's been no word on whether he's retired or not yet the Hollywood star is unlikely to mess with WWE while the coronavirus pandemic is ongoing. Reports suggest his contract with WWE has expired, however, Cena has indicated he wants to be around for years to come.
