Likely a work more than it was a shoot, Grayson Waller recently lost his cool while a guest on a talk show promoting a WWE event in Australia. That said, not everyone is sure that he wasn't legitimately peeve by a line of questioning and a suggestion that the wrestling industry was a joke. Waller seemed to snap on the hosts, quickly squashing any idea of him putting one of them in a hold.

Waller was with LA Knight and the two were promoting the event in Perth, the first in Australia since 2018. One of the hosts asked LA Knight if he would apply a finishing hold on a crew member and Knight said if he did, it wouldn't be a good day for anyone. He then asked Waller if he wanted to take the floor and try and Waller seemed to grow quickly frustrated with the idea that anyone could take a finishing maneuver from a wrestler and it not be a big deal.

When the other host said the floor manager was leaving the show this week and that he might be good to take a move, Waller said, "I don't think you understand, if I come over there right now, we're going to have the police here because I'm not gonna give you some fake punch, I'm gonna punch you straight in the jaw." He added, "The actual disrespect you have even talking to me, you want to talk to me like this ain't real... Don't act all tough." Waller was visibly upset and then said to all of the hosts, "You guys come here and try to disrespect us, are you kidding me?"

When the other hosts tried to calm things down, Waller sat back down while Knight just sat there and didn't show much, if any emotion at all.

Waller Might Have Just Been Playing Up His Role

This wouldn't be the first time and wrestler or wrestlers got upset with talk show hosts not taking the industry seriously. While everyone knows it's entertainment, the average person likely isn't going to enjoy a punch from a wrestler, even if that punch isn't delivered with anything close to full force. Waller might have legitimately not liked the hosts assuming it was all no big deal.

At the same time, this is the kind of character Waller portrays, so this could have been him selling the idea he's a bit of a jerk.
