Monday Night Raw was steady in 2022, and there was a plethora of champions that represented the red brand with pride. However, not every title reign was memorable, but some had fantastic championship reigns.
There was no WWE draft in 2022, so the Raw roster has pretty much been the same throughout the year with a few changes. However, the WWE and Universal Championships were unified at WrestleMania 38 with one World Title being available as the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. As were the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships, they were unified in May with the title now being called the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship.

Nevertheless, there were multiple titleholders on Raw with championships changing hands on free television and premium live events. However, some champions have had brilliant runs with titles, but others failed to make an impression as a champion on Raw.
19 Alexa Bliss & Asuka - WWE Women's Tag Team Championship
On the go-home episode of Raw before Crown Jewel, Alexa Bliss and Asuka combined to defeat Damage CTRL's Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. Bliss and Asuka were no strangers to holding that title, and they both held the title for the third time, but for the first time as a duo.
Their title reign was not long, as Damage CTRL had a rematch for the titles at Crown Jewel. Their run as champions lasted five days with Damage CTRL regaining the gold.
18 Aliyah & Raquel Rodriguez - WWE Women's Tag Team Championship
On the August 29, 2022 edition of Raw, Aliyah and Raquel Rodriguez shocked the favorites Damage CTRL in the tournament final to become the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. However, their time as champions only lasted a couple of weeks.
Aliyah and Raquel defended the title just once, and they dropped the titles to Damage CTRL in a rematch on the September 12, 2022, episode of Raw.
17 Carmella & Queen Zelina - WWE Women's Tag Team Championship
Despite winning the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship in November 2021, Carmella and Queen Zelina's first title defense didn't occur until the first episode of Raw in January 2022. They defeated former champions Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley in their first title defense.
Surprisingly, they didn't defend the titles again for another three months, and that was at WrestleMania 38. They were champions for 132 days, but it was a lackluster title reign with Sasha Banks and Naomi dethroning them for the titles in a fatal 4-way tag team match.
16 Alpha Academy - Raw Tag Team Championship
Alpha Academy's Chad Gable and Otis' partnership got over, and they became a threat to the Raw Tag Team Championship. On the January 10, 2022 episode of Raw, Alpha Academy upset RK-Bro for the Raw Tag Team Championship.

The Raw Tag Team Championship virtually became a prop on their shoulders as they defended the titles once. They lost the belts in that match after a two-month reign, as RK-Bro regained the gold in a high-quality triple-threat tag team match that also involved Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens.
15 Sasha Banks & Naomi - WWE Women's Tag Team Championship
Sasha Banks and Naomi made history at WrestleMania 38 as the first pair of black women to win the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. The duo was expected to have a long run as champions but they vacated the titles 47 days later, after they legitimately walked out of WWE.
Their title defenses were on Raw and SmackDown, defeating the team of Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley on Raw, and Natalya and Shayna Baszler on SmackDown, which turned out to be Sasha and Naomi's most recent match in a WWE ring.
14 Bobby Lashley - WWE Championship
Fans had waited many years to see Bobby Lashley and Brock Lesnar slug it out, and they did at the Royal Rumble for Lesnar's WWE Championship. This WWE Championship match was capable of being much better, but with a helping hand from Roman Reigns, Lashley beat Lesnar to become a two-time WWE Champion.
His second run as WWE Champion was far worse than his first WWE Championship reign. Three weeks later in the Elimination Chamber match, Lashley was unable to compete as Seth Rollins executed a buckle bomb on Austin Theory to break Lashley's pod. That opened the door for Lesnar to recapture the WWE Championship.
13 Big E - WWE Championship
Fans rejoiced when Big E cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase to defeat Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship in September 2021. However, Big E only mustered a single WWE Championship title defense in 2022.

At Day 1, Big E defended his coveted WWE Championship against Seth Rollins, Bobby Lashley, Kevin Owens, and Brock Lesnar was added to the match. Big E's WWE Title reign lasted 110 days, but January 2022 got off to the worse possible start for Big E with Lesnar clinching the WWE Championship.
12 Finn Balor - United States Championship
2022 has been a solid year for Finn Balor, but before he joined The Judgment Day, Balor held some silverware. He defeated his future stablemate, Damian Priest, for the United States Championship.
Balor's United States Championship reign had the potential to be miles better, and he was omitted from WrestleMania 38, where he could have defended the title. 49 days after winning the title, Balor was defeated by Theory for the United States Championship.
11 Damage CTRL - WWE Women's Tag Team Championship
Damage CTRL's Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai have had a renewed lease of life being under the tutelage of their leader Bayley. Damage CTRL has been working on both Raw and SmackDown, and they won the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship twice.
They defended the titles against the likes of Raquel Rodriguez and Shotzi, Alexa Bliss and Asuka, and Liv Morgan and Tegan Nox. They've held the titles across their two reigns for over 100 days, but they are yet to defend the titles on pay-per-view.
10 Brock Lesnar - WWE Championship
Brock Lesnar had a fantastic start to 2022 as he won the WWE Championship for the sixth time at Day 1. He was originally scheduled to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship, but Reigns was pulled from the match due to COVID-19.

Lesnar's title reign didn't last long as he dropped the title to Bobby Lashley at the Royal Rumble. However, Lesnar regained the gold in his first Elimination Chamber match. Much like Lesnar's 7th run with the strap, The Beast's 8th WWE Championship reign ended at the first hurdle with Roman Reigns overcoming him at WrestleMania 38 to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
9 Damian Priest - United States Championship
Damian Priest was on a roll in 2021, and he capped off an exceptional year by defeating Sheamus for the United States Championship at SummerSlam. Priest held the United States Championship for 191 days, but a chunk of his title defenses was in 2021.
In 2022, Priest defended the US Championship against the likes of Dolph Ziggler, Kevin Owens, and AJ Styles. Priest did a good job as United States Champion but the curtain was brought on his title reign by Finn Balor.
8 Austin Theory - United States Championship
Austin Theory has been touted by many as a future World Champion and the potential is there. Theory defeated Finn Balor to become the youngest United States Champion in WWE history in April. Theory defended the title against Cody Rhodes, and twice against Mustafa Ali.
His maiden run as United States Champion was ended by Bobby Lashley at Money in the Bank. Although, Theory went on to win the men's Money in the Bank ladder match later that night. Nevertheless, Theory became a two-time United States Champion when he defeated Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley in a triple threat match at Survivor Series WarGames.
7 RK-Bro - Raw Tag Team Championship
Randy Orton and Matt Riddle formed an unlikely but successful alliance as RK-Bro. They won the Raw Tag Team Championship twice, and their first title reign was ended by Alpha Academy.
Two months later, RK-Bro regained the Raw Tag Team Championship. RK-Bro had some competitive matches with the Street Profits, and the highlight of their second run as champions was their successful title defense at WrestleMania 38. Ultimately, their reign was ended by The Usos in a title unification match with both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Titles at stake.
6 Seth Rollins - United States Championship
For a man of Seth Rollins' quality, it was a travesty that it had been three years since the Visionary last held a singles championship. With a huge assist from Brock Lesnar, Rollins defeated Bobby Lashley to become a two-time United States Champion and the second two-time Grand Slam Champion in WWE history.
Rollins' feud with Matt Riddle culminated with Rollins successfully defending the title against Riddle. The Visionary defeated the likes of Theory and Finn Balor in his other two successful title defenses. Surprisingly, his run as champion was ended by Theory in a triple threat match at Survivor Series WarGames.
5 Bobby Lashley - United States Championship
Bobby Lashley had a stellar 2022, and the WWE Championship wasn't the only title that he got his hands on. The Almighty dethroned Theory for the United States Championship at Money in the Bank.
Lashley's third run as United States Champion was magnificent as he beat Theory in a rematch at SummerSlam. The Almighty was a fighting champion, and his 100-day reign as United States Champion was curtailed by Seth Rollins.
4 Roman Reigns - Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
Roman Reigns is the longest-reigning Universal Champion in WWE history, but the Tribal Chief cemented his dominance by dethroning Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Reigns is a four-time WWE Champion, and he currently holds the title alongside his Universal Championship.

Reigns has held the WWE Championship for 269 days, and the leader of The Bloodline has retained his titles against Matt Riddle, Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul. It remains to be seen when Reigns' time as Undisputed WWE Universal Champion will come to a halt.
3 Becky Lynch - Raw Women's Championship
Becky Lynch's second reign as Raw Women's Champion got off to a controversial start with a failed title switch with Charlotte Flair. Nevertheless, Big Time Becks is the longest-reigning Raw Women's Champion in history, and she had a respectable second reign as Raw Women's Champion.
Lynch defeated Liv Morgan at Day 1, Doudrop at the Royal Rumble, and Lita at Elimination Chamber in successful Raw Women's Title matches. Ultimately, Lynch's Raw Women's Championship reign was ended by Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 38 in one of the best matches of the year.
2 The Usos - Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship
The Usos are in the best phase of their wrestling career, and they are on course to become the first males to hold a WWE World Tag Team Championship for a calendar year as SmackDown Tag Team Champions. Nevertheless, The Usos continued their dominance in the tag team division by beating RK-Bro for the Raw Tag Team Championship to become Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.
The Usos have been fighting champions, and they have held the Raw Tag Team Championship for 217 days and counting. They defeated The New Day in a match to surpass them as the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history. The Usos also made history as the first Tag Team Champions in two decades to defend the Tag Team Championship on Raw and SmackDown. The likes of The Street Profits and The Brawling Brutes have failed to dethrone The Usos for the titles with The Usos dominating the tag team division.
1 Bianca Belair - Raw Women's Championship
Bianca Belair has had a phenomenal 2022, and she has gone from strength to strength after she defeated Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's Championship at WrestleMania 38. The EST of WWE has been involved in some enthralling championship bouts throughout the year.
Her standout title defenses were against Lynch and Asuka in a triple threat match at Hell in a Cell. She defeated Lynch once more at SummerSlam. Belair retained the Raw Women's Championship against Bayley in a ladder match at Extreme Rules and in a Last Woman Standing match at Crown Jewel. Belair made history as the first black person to hold a World Championship for over 200 days.
