With the news that ROH will be going on hiatus and reimagining the company, news of the entire roster being released has caught many by surprise. While the ROH roster isn't packed with household names or stars that might make an impact in WWE or AEW, one member of the roster created quite the brand for himself, that being Danhausen.
What the future holds for Danhausen is unclear, but he may have tweeted something that offers a bit of a hint about his next move. The popular independent wrestler posted a tweet that looks awfully familiar to one that Cody Rhodes posted and became a viral .gif when AEW was first getting started and he was on board. The Rhodes .gif has been used repeatedly and was the signal for months that another wrestler might be joining AEW. Danhausen posted a similar image where the camera zoom in as he makes a gesture with his hand cupping his ear as though he's listening for big news.
The reactions to the tweet were immediate. A ton of fans believed that meant he would be on his way to AEW and while this isn't at all confirmed, there's a good reason to believe AEW might be interested. Danhausen is arguably the most popular wrestler on the ROH roster right now and he's built a nice following on social media, something AEW likes to look for in their acquisitions. He's also close with talents like Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy, as he was a part of the Jericho cruise this week. Between his popularity and his connections to current AEW stars, it's easy to connect the dots here.

Might Have To Wait A While To Find Out
If this is happening, it might not be happening right away. The ROH changes are not going to be immediate and unless the parties involved here come to an agreement where Danhausen jumping ship or appearing early is approved, it could be a move that takes place early in 2022.
