Charlie Haas can now add another promotion to his resume! The former WWE Tag Team Champion made his Impact Wrestling debut on the January 13 edition of the company's weekly TV show ... and he immediately confronted fan-favorite Josh Alexander.
Alexander was in the ring cutting a promo in which he addressed his recent victories over JONAH and Minoru Suzuki. "The Walking Weapon" said he was ready to challenge Moose and attempt to regain the Impact World Championship but chastised Moose for avoiding him while still dishing out title shots. As you might recall, Moose shocked the wrestling world at Bound For Glory on October 23 last year when he cashed in a guaranteed championship opportunity (which he had earned by winning the Call Your Shot Gauntlet earlier in the evening) on Alexander, who had won the title from Christian Cage mere moments earlier.
Just as Alexander was threatening to leave Impact if he didn't get a shot at Moose ... Charlie Haas interrupted, making his Impact Wrestling debut in the process.

Haas met Alexander in the ring and introduced himself to both Alexander and the Impact fans. Haas challenged Alexander to a match, and the confrontation got physical when Alexander told Haas he was just another obstacle. Eventually, the two men were pulled apart by security as the segment came to an end.
It was later confirmed that Haas and Alexander will go one-on-one on the next installment of Impact Wrestling on AXS. That episode has already been taped, and while we won't spoil the result, we will say that one of the men was injured during the match.
Charlie Haas is a former WWE Tag Team Champion (with Shelton Benjamin as a member of Team Angle/The World's Greatest Tag Team) who was employed by WWE between 2000 - 2005 and again between 2006 - 2010.
