In the midst of rumors that Andrade El Idolo might be unhappy with his status in AEW, the wrestler posted a tweet on social media that has a lot of fans talking. He posted nothing more than an hourglass, which suggests he's counting down the hours until something. What that something is isn't clear.
Andrade has never been shy about speaking his mind. He referenced and hinted at his unhappiness in WWE before ultimately being released. He's been critical of AEW and their use of certain talents and it sounds like he's not happy with his current role in the company, even if that hasn't been confirmed with comments from the performer stating as much. El Idolo is one of the most talented in-ring workers in the business, but for whatever reason, he doesn't seem to get the pushes he would like in the companies he works for.

In the case of AEW, he hasn't been seen on programming in quite some time and wasn't anywhere to be found during the recent "Grand Slam" shows where the locker room was banding together after backstage issues between CM Punk and The Elite became front page news. It shouldn't mean that El Idolo is being grouped into the talents being deemed a problem backstage, but it is odd that he wasn't a part of the shows in any way. So, when he tweeted an hourglass, it got fans talking.
Could This Mean Nothing At All?
Many asked what he was talking about, with some quickly pointing out that he was probably waiting until his contract expired. It's also interesting that an hourglass has been used in the White Rabbit promotional material recently seen on WWE programming. Perhaps he's eagerly waiting for the debut of whomever or whatever it is WWE is teasing. Perhaps he's simply a Karrion Kross fan?
