Chris Jericho has had an unbelievable three-decade-long career. The "Le Champion" is a once in a generation talent who has had a plethora of title reigns. He has had countless iconic rivalries with legendary stars like Shawn Michaels, and Rey Mysterio. Chris Jericho is constantly reinventing his character, so he still manages to find success at the top of the card.

However, Jericho has always been willing to take a loss to help legitimize a young talent or to strengthen the star power of a popular veteran. There are plenty of unique wrestlers who have had his number over the years.

10 Curt Hennig
If there was a list of all-time great in-ring performers, these two men would be at the top of that list. In late 1997, Chris Jericho and Curt Hennig were at two different positions in their careers. Jericho was the young upstart and Hennig was the NWO's ring general.

Their match on the December 29 edition of WCW Monday Nitro was uneventful until the end. Jericho missed a Lionsault, but Hennig put his knees up to prevent a gruesome injury for his opponent. Hennig walked away victorious while Jericho threw a dramatic tantrum that would ignite his 1998 heel run.
9 Jack Swagger
The muscle of the Inner Circle is always by Jericho's side in AEW. Many fans might forget that these two men have a history together that goes back an entire decade. The former "All-American-American" wasted little time cashing in his Money In The Bank contract on Jericho during the SmackDown after WrestleMania 26.
Jericho did not have a problem with losing to Jack Swagger again in 2013. It is interesting that Jericho now has Hager as an enforcer when he was the one who got the best of Jericho in WWE on more than one occasion.
8 Jeff Jarrett
Chris Jericho and Jeff Jarrett rarely crossed paths during their long careers. Jarrett flipped flopped between WWE and WCW throughout the 1990s while Jericho was still building his notoriety in the United States. When Jarrett established TNA in 2002, Jericho was already a household name in WWE.

Jericho wrestled "Double J" on television twice in WCW. Jericho won the first match in February 1997 on Monday Nitro due to outside interference from Steve "Mongo" McMichael. Jarrett was able to defeat Jericho on the August 16, 1997 episode of WCW Worldwide.
7 Ric Flair
Jericho and the "Nature Boy" were ready to collide after Flair became WWE bound in late 2001. Flair got the better of a younger Jericho over three years prior when they had a short match during the pilot episode of WCW Thunder in January 1998.
The 16-time world champion wrestled the first-ever Undisputed Champion in a brutal Submission Match at SummerSlam 2002. Flair made a whiny Jericho cry and beg for mercy with the Figure-Four Leg Lock. This match proved that Flair still had a lot more fight left in him.
6 "Road Dogg" Jesse James
Jericho's debut match in WWE with "Road Dogg" Jesse James was bizarre. The match was thrown together for the August 26, 1999 episode of SmackDown. After James kicked out of Jericho's cover, "Y2J" powerbombed his adversary through a table and put him in the Walls of Jericho. Jericho was disqualified and this confusing match was over.

James beat Jericho again on SmackDown in late 1999 with Chyna's help. Jericho turned babyface in WWE for the first time in early 2000 and he defeated James on the July 10, 2000 episode of Raw.
5 Wade Barrett
The Nexus storyline in the summer of 2010 was all about building future talent. Chris Jericho loves to work with young talent, and who better for him to work with than his NXT rookie, Wade Barrett? Barrett was the centerpiece of the new faction, so Jericho decided to make him look as strong as possible.
They squared off on the August 16 episode of Raw and tore the house down in a terrific match. The Nexus was banned from ringside, but Barrett reversed a Codebreaker and hit his Wasteland finisher to get the win.
4 Muhammad Hassan
Chris Jericho was in a peculiar place from 2002-2005. He was stuck in the middle of the card as a babyface. One of the young breakout stars that he lost to was polarizing Arab-American Muhammad Hassan. Hassan was getting a nuclear amount of heat as a heel, so Jericho did the favor.

Hassan maintained his undefeated record with the assistance of Davari on the February 14, 2005 episode of Raw. Hassan would skyrocket up the card until a highly controversial storyline with The Undertaker on SmackDown erased him from WWE forever.
3 "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan
2002 was a unique year for WWE. The first WWE Draft split the roster into two separate brands for Raw and SmackDown. The one rule was that the Undisputed Champion had to defend the championship on both brands. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan was in the midst of an unreal comeback, so he made his way to SmackDown on May 2 to take on the "Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla."

Hogan was wrapping up the final days of his last world championship reign. He took advantage of some shenanigans from Triple H and rolled up Jericho for the win. This exciting match was the only time that Jericho battled "The Hulkster."
2 Lance Storm
There is arguably no man that Jericho is closer to in professional wrestling than his dear friend Lance Storm. Storm trained with Jericho and even wrestled him in his first-ever match in 1990. The Canadians joined forces as The Thrillseekers and became one of the most exciting tag teams in the world. In 1995, Storm beat Jericho in WAR in Japan. Jericho beat Storm in 2001 during The Alliance storyline.
Jericho took the pin for his friend in Storm's final WWE match at ECW One Night Stand 2005. There is speculation that Jericho would like to wrestle Storm in his final match. Will it happen in AEW? Only time will tell.
1 Fandango
Fandango had a debut to remember. After a series of vignettes, fans anticipated what they would see from the blue-chip ballroom dancer. Jericho mocked Fandango in his promos by not pronouncing his opponent's name correctly. These comedic confrontations between the musically talented athletes were hilarious.
The newcomer was able to pick up the win when they clashed at WrestleMania 29. This match was forgettable because Fandango used an anticlimactic cradle to get the pinfall. Jericho avenged his loss to Fandango a month later at Extreme Rules. Fandango is still a beloved talent in WWE, but injuries constantly halt his momentum.
