10 Wrestlers We Can't Believe Defeated The Undertaker In A Singles Match

The Undertaker was recently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and frankly, there are few more deserving than him. The Undertaker is a larger-than-life character who spent 30 years in WWE, building an unforgettable legacy.

The Undertaker sent countless opponents to rest in peace, but he was also defeated several times. Fans, of course, remember Taker's losses to Kane, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Brock Lesnar, Mankind, and Kurt Angle. However, there were also other wrestlers that we can't believe defeated The Undertaker in a singles match, so let's take a look at 10 of them.

10 Tito Santana

Tito Santana worked for WWE between 1983 and 1993, being a solid mid-card wrestler. He won the Intercontinental Championship a couple of times and was also a two-time Tag Team Champion. Tito Santana faced the young Undertaker on October 5, 1991, on WWF on Telecinco. It was a pretty good match, with excellent in-ring action, and a hot crowd. Tito Santana was absolutely over here, and the fans really enjoyed seeing him defeat The Undertaker after three piledrivers. This was Undertaker’s second WWE loss.

9 Vladimir Kozlov

On the February 27, 2009, episode of Friday Night SmackDown, The Undertaker faced off against Vladimir Kozlov in a singles match. Kozlov was being pushed as the typical dominant foreign heel, but still no one expected him to be able to defeat The Undertaker.

The match was decent, although a bit boring due to Kozlov's slow pace, but the shocking thing was the finish. Undertaker climbed to the top rope, but Kozlov capitalized to hit a power slam and score the win via pinfall. "Oh My God, I can’t believe it!" said Jim Ross, conveying the same feeling as millions of fans.

8 Mr. Kennedy

You may have forgotten, but in 2006, The Undertaker had a feud with Mr. Kennedy. They first clashed at No Mercy, in a match that Kennedy won by disqualification. Then they faced each other at Survivor Series in a first blood match, and Mr. Kennedy won again, although Taker bled due to a chair shot from Montel Vontavious Porter. Weeks later, at Armageddon, The Undertaker finally got his revenge and defeated Mr. Kennedy.

7 Goldust

At In Your House 8: Beware Of Dog, The Undertaker and Goldust collided in a casket match for the Intercontinental Title. It was a lackluster match with a cheap finish, as Mankind was inside the casket and surprised The Undertaker. Mankind put The Undertaker in the casket and thus Goldust was the winner. This was not a clean win by any means, but it still counts, so Dustin Rhodes can say he defeated one of the greatest superstars ever, The Undertaker.

6 Maven

Truth be told, Maven’s career was no big deal, and probably his biggest win was against The Undertaker. On the February 7, 2002, episode of SmackDown, The Undertaker defended the Hardcore Title against Maven.

"Big Evil" dominated the entire match, brutally punishing Maven, getting revenge after Maven eliminated him in the 2002 Royal Rumble match, and even dealing with Al Snow as well. However, The Undertaker didn't see The Rock coming, who hit a Rock Bottom on him, allowing Maven to make the cover to defeat The Undertaker and become Hardcore Champion for the first time in his career.

5 Vince McMahon

Vince McMahon booked himself to defeat, one way or another, legends like Triple H, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, and The Undertaker. Under normal circumstances, there's no way Vince McMahon would defeat The Undertaker in a singles match, which is why it's hard to believe that actually happened.

But the circumstances were not normal at Survivor Series 2003 when McMahon and Undertaker went one-on-one in a Buried Alive match. Vince McMahon was pummeled, but in the end, he got help from Kane to bury The Undertaker alive.

4 Mabel

Believe it or not, Mabel defeated The Undertaker. They faced each other in the quarterfinals of the King Of The Ring 1995 tournament. The match was mediocre, Mabel couldn't wrestle, and Undertaker couldn't shine with such an opponent. The Deadman should have won the match, but when he pinned Mabel, the referee was knocked out. Kama appeared and attacked Taker, then Mabel performed a leg drop, made the cover, and this time the referee woke up to count 1-2-3. Mabel would become the King Of The Ring that night.

3 Matt Hardy

Matt Hardy is a tag team specialist, and alongside his brother Jeff made up one of the best tag teams in the history of sports entertainment. However, it is no secret to anyone that Matt Hardy did not excel in singles action, and that is precisely why it is surprising that he defeated The Undertaker not once but twice. The first time was on the September 12, 2002, edition of SmackDown, and then on the October 3rd episode of SmackDown. 'Taker lost in September via count-out after a video was shown on the Titantron of Paul Heyman harassing his wife, Sara, in the locker-room area. The October match was contested under Falls Count Anywhere Rules and was won by Hardy thanks to an F5 from Brock Lesnar.

2 Rikishi

In the opening match of the December 4, 2000, episode of RAW is WAR, The Undertaker faced off against Rikishi. Kurt Angle was at ringside, so The Undertaker was distracted a couple of times by him, however, Angle had nothing to do with the outcome of the match. Rikishi performed a leg drop, pinned Taker, but the latter kicked out, so Rikishi then performed his Banzai Drop to defeat The Undertaker after five minutes.

1 The Great Khali

The simple fact that The Great Khali defeated The Undertaker is unfortunate, because we are talking about one of the worst wrestlers in WWE history defeating one of the greatest to ever enter a WWE ring. This happened at Judgment Day 2006, obviously it was a terrible match, very boring. It was The Great Khali's first PPV match, and he defeated The Undertaker cleanly, and in dominating fashion, putting his foot on Taker's chest.
