WWE has notoriously favored giants over the years. They are larger-than-life specimens, but what some big wrestlers lack is the in-ring skills to produce watchable matches. Of course, matches between two large wrestlers are not going to be technical masterclasses, but they make up for it with their size by having slugfests.

However, wrestling fans will reject a match they are witnessing if it tends to become boring. There can be a plethora of botches when two big men go head-to-head, and fans would rather watch a fast-paced match than a slow one. WWE has generally got away with booking two big men going toe-to-toe, but there have been many occasions where they were boring affairs.
10 The Undertaker Vs. Kane - Judgment Day: In Your House, 1998
At Judgment Day: In Your House, The Undertaker and Kane squared off for the third time in a singles match on pay-per-view in 1998. This time, the coveted WWE Championship was on the line. Steve Austin was the special guest referee, and there was a caveat as Austin would be fired if he failed to crown a new WWE Champion.
This was an underwhelming match between the duo. The match was boring and it plodded on. Paul Bearer interfered, and he betrayed Kane by rekindling his partnership with The Undertaker. Nonetheless, Austin refused to crown Undertaker as the new WWE Champion. The bout ended as a draw with both Kane and Undertaker laid out.
9 Big Show Vs. Batista - ECW (8/1/06)
WWE's revival of ECW died rather rapidly. On the August 1, 2006, edition of ECW, it tells you everything you need to know about the failure of WWE's revamped version of ECW. Big Show was not a popular ECW Champion, and he defended the ECW Championship against SmackDown's Batista.
The show emanated inside the Hammerstein Ballroom, and they are a tough crowd to please. Show picked up a mic and he responded to the crowd. There was a chorus of boos, and the wrestling wasn't any better either in an embarrassing moment for both men.
8 The Great Khali Vs. Kane - WrestleMania 23
Fans were subjected to one of the worst matches in the history of WrestleMania at WrestleMania 23. The Great Khali represented Raw, and Kane was a member of SmackDown with bragging rights on the line. Whilst, Khali may have been booked as a dominant wrestler, his lack of in-ring psychology made his matches unbearable to watch.
Kane is a solid worker for a man of his size. Not even the Big Red Machine could bring the best out of Khali. Ultimately, Kane ended up on the losing side of proceedings with Khali prevailing in his debut outing on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
7 Batista Vs. John Bradshaw Layfield - The Great American Bash 2005
The World Heavyweight Championship was up for grabs in the main event of The Great American Bash 2005. Batista defended his title against former WWE Champion John Bradshaw Layfield. This was Batista's first pay-per-view appearance as a member of SmackDown.

Batista and JBL lacked chemistry together, and their clash failed to live up to the expectation. Both men were worn out, and everything looked off in the closing stages of the match. However, the Animal got disqualified with JBL victorious, but Batista remained as World Heavyweight Champion.
6 Imposter Kane Vs. Kane - Vengeance 2006
Imposter matches haven't really worked in WWE, and Kane's clash with his doppelganger at Vengeance 2006 wasn't an exception. The Imposter Kane turned out to be Luke Gallows, and there were parts of the match, where he did a good job of imitating Kane's mannerisms.
The match was slow and methodical, and the real Kane had the upper hand for some parts of the bout. Nonetheless, the Imposter picked up the win with a Chokeslam. The angle was soon dropped with Kane putting the Imposter out of his misery on an episode of Raw.
5 Diesel Vs. King Mabel - SummerSlam 1995
At SummerSlam 1995, newly crowned King of the Ring winner King Mabel was presented with an opportunity of a lifetime. He challenged Diesel for the WWE Championship, which turned out to be one of the worst WWE Title matches in company history.
Big Daddy Cool carried this match as King Mabel was relatively inexperienced in the main event scene. There were some decent exchanges but overall it was a snooze fest. Mabel provided a stiff challenge, but the result was inevitable with Diesel retaining the WWE Championship.
4 Sycho Sid Vs. The Undertaker - WrestleMania 13
Sycho Sid and The Undertaker ended up facing off in the main event of WrestleMania 13 with Sid's WWE Title on the line. It was contested under No Disqualification rules. This was the Deadman's first trip to a main event of WrestleMania with Sid competing in his second.

Sid wasn't on Undertaker's level, and this main event was overshadowed by Bret Hart and Steve Austin's excellence. The Hitman interfered repeatedly. Ultimately, Undertaker struck gold for the second time as the Tombstone laid Sid to rest in an underwhelming WWE Championship match.
3 The Great Khali Vs. Batista - SummerSlam 2007
For the seventh pay-per-view in a row in 2007, Batista was involved in a World Heavyweight Championship match. The Animal was looking to bring The Great Khali's underwhelming title reign to a halt in a marquee match at SummerSlam.
Khali's movement is languid, and he tried his best to keep Batista at bay. The pendulum swung in Batista's favor, and he was a safe bet to unseat Khali for the gold. However, Khali made the most of his champion's advantage, and he got himself intentionally disqualified by hitting Batista with a steel chair.
2 The Undertaker Vs. Giant Gonzalez - WrestleMania 9
The Undertaker competed in one of the worst matches in his legendary career at WrestleMania 9. The Deadman collided with Giant Gonzalez in a forgettable contest. Undertaker couldn't do all the heavy lifting in the match with Gonzalez's movement non-existent.
Undertaker got some offense in the match, but there was no rhythm whatsoever. Nonetheless, Undertaker registered his third successive win at 'Mania, although it was by disqualification. A soaked cloth with chloroform did the damage but it was enough for Undertaker to get the win.
1 Big Show Vs. The Great Khali - Backlash 2008
Any match featuring Big Show and The Great Khali spells a recipe for disaster. Their encounter at Backlash 2008 was far from a technical masterclass. Neither man is agile in the ring, although Shows moves considerably better than Khali.
They had heat backstage with one another, and it was played out briefly on television. Nevertheless, Big Show bounced back after he suffered a loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. at WrestleMania 24. The World's Largest Athlete sealed the deal with a Chokeslam that had some venom in it.
