In recent episodes of WWE Raw on Monday nights we have seen teases as to a new member of the Judgment Day stable coming. This even included Dominik Mysterio even agreeing to join in place of a beating to his father at the hands of the group. The group turned their attacks on him, leaving in question his alliance with the group. The uncertainty of the membership status of one Dominik Mysterio, leads to the real question: Is Dominik Mysterio the right Dominik to join the group? The other Dominik on the roster is Dominik Dijakovic, and he is the correct Dominik to join Judgment Day.

Dominik Dijakovic Had A Great Run In NXT
Dijakovic, or as he is currently billed in WWE, T-Bar, a former member of the Retribution stable, is a native of New England who cut his teeth on the independent scene in the American North East. After stints in Chaotic Wrestling, and becoming a CWF Triple Crown Champion, Dijak debuted for Ring of Honor. Dominik spent almost four years with the Pennsylvania based promotion until WWE came calling. During his time with NXT's black and gold run, Dijakovic showcased both his athleticism and brute strength all while working with the likes of Keith Lee, Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, and even Ricochet. His ability to showcase and shine no matter the opponent size is a talent lost on some big men.
The match between Lee and Dijakovic at NXT Takeover: Portland, is a perfect example of Dijakovic’s work on the biggest stage. The match featured a story of two men, working like big men, but utilizing the move sets of much smaller athletes. Hurricanranas and moonsaults by men pushing 300 pounds or passing it is a feat unto itself, but to see two men working in tandem, it was like a Lucha Libre match, but with heavyweights. This was one of the matches to catch the eye of executives and prepare for his main roster call up.

Dominik Dijakovic Is Horribly Misused As T-Bar
When Retribution broke onto the scene they were the antiestablishment movement of WWE during the Thunder Dome Era. Lead by Mustafa Ali, Retribution aimed to remove the entitled and privileged from the WWE. The muscle behind the group was T-Bar. He was responsible for handing out judgment as Ali passed verdicts on their peers. The group never came to full fruition as the WWE Draft split up the remaining members, leaving the group in the memories of fans. On the main roster since, we have seen T-Bar relinquished to Main Event or the 24/7 division. The tie in to Judgment Day is right there though. Dijakovic’s last push was against then WWE US Heavyweight Champion, but now Judgment Day member, Damien Priest.
The dark side of Judgment Day as an aesthetic seems like Dijakovic would be a solid fit. Be it the war paint from the War Games match when he was on team Ciampa or the dark ambiance of Retribution, Dijakovic seems to fit the mold. His mannerisms and promo work both lend him to needing a mouthpiece like Finn Balor or Damien Priest at the helm, leading the cause on the mic. He fits the bill as being the tall menacing presence waiting to strike, and to be fair, he is way more intimidating than Dominik Mysterio.

Judgment Day Would Be A Great Fit For Dominik Dijakovic
The fact that Judgment Day is a smaller group also lends itself to be a good landing spot for Dijakovic. A smaller circle allows him to still be a loner and a quiet giant, but also be in the middle of the story as needed. The group size is important because this allows him to be the single big man in the group, giving him the imagery of being the muscle. This is important for when Judgment Day squares up against another faction or team, because they have the obvious size advantage, making up for the size disadvantage of someone like Balor.
The WWE Universe is unsure of Dominik Mysterio working as a heel. The wrestling fans know Dijakovic is a fantastic heel who can make you love to hate him, as we saw in Retribution and on the indies. The lack of experience Mysterio has working in a heel faction is a huge red flag. If Dominik is unable to secure the role of being an intimidating force, then the entire feel of the group will be lost. Dijakovic can be that intimidating force as soon as he appears on a television set.
Although the future for Dijakovic is unsure and the members of Judgment day might still in up in the air, but one thing for sure. Dominik Mysterio isn’t the right Dominik for the job. Dijakovic needs to be the next member of Judgment Day.
