Solo Sikoa continued to showcase his savagery on Raw this week after his older brothers successfully defended the Tag Team Titles against Kevin Owens and Matt Riddle. As expected, the match descended into chaos, at which point KO chased Jimmy and Jey to the back. That left Riddle alone in the ring at the mercy of Sikoa, and the newest member of The Bloodline channeled an old relative during the beatdown.

Solo Sikoa's Samoan Spike

Sikoa dragged Riddle to his feet, pulled back his arm, and proceeded to drive his thumb into Riddle's chest. A move many fans will have instantly recognized as Umaga's finisher, the Samoan Spike. Sikoa pulling that move out of his arsenal was no accident as December 4, the day before this week's Raw, marked 13 years since Umaga passed away.

The former Intercontinental Champion passed away suddenly in 2009 at the age of just 36. Still loved by family and fans alike to this day, like most members of The Samoan Dynasty who make it to WWE, Umaga is still remembered as someone very special. A Superstar who would have almost definitely been a World Champion had he not been taken way too soon.

Honoring Umaga

Sikoa wasn't the only one of Umaga's nephews to pay homage to their uncle over the past few days, acknowledging the anniversary of his passing. Jey Uso shared a picture of a tattoo he has on his leg which is clearly inspired by Umaga. In fact, in the caption attached, Uso revealed it was his uncle Umaga who inspired him to get tattoos in the first place.

If Umaga were still around today, he may well have played a part in the long-running Bloodline angle that continues to unfold across WWE TV. He would have still been just 49 if he were alive today, making him far younger than quite a few people who have wrestled recently. While he might not have been competing full-time, a one-off match against Roman Reigns or a role as the group's bodyguard would have been incredible to see.
