New WWE performer Logan Paul has implied that he would like to work with Rey Mysterio at some point.

The promotion recently struck a deal with the YouTube megastar, whose sole appearance to date came against Rey when he teamed up with The Miz to face The Mysterios at WrestleMania 38.

Logan explained on the latest episode of The Bump that he got off on the wrong foot with the high-flying veteran and would like to collaborate with him again in future.

"Rey, listen, this is a big deal. I know we've had our differences, but it's your 20th anniversary in WWE, you're a f**king Legend and I got nothing but respect for you. I actually am embarrassed to say that I think that The Miz led me astray. Maybe one day we can make amends but congratulations bro," Paul said. "Suck up the moment and thank you for inundating me and bringing me into the WWE with open arms."

Paul and Miz defeated the father-son duo of Rey and Dominik Mysterio at WrestleMania earlier this year. But, after the fight, The A-Lister turned on his partner, dropping Logan with a Skull Crushing Finale.

The Maverick returned to WWE programming this week on RAW, where he challenged The Miz to a SummerSlam match.

The Miz Doesn't Think Logan Paul Is Ready

The Miz has since shared his thoughts on the upcoming bout, asserting Logan is not yet prepared for the challenge.

"He’s had one match in WWE and it was a great match," Miz declared. "He was phenomenal. He was a natural talent and he had all the ability to be a huge star. He just needs to develop it, but he thinks he’s ready now for a one-on-one match at SummerSlam. I’m sorry… he’s not ready for it and I don’t know how to explain that to him any clearer."
