Inside the ring, they are all talented wrestlers, and the same can be said for their promo abilities as well. However, because some members have been around for decades and others for just years it is no surprise that there are mixed levels of skills when it comes to the promo abilities of each group member.
8 Jake Hager
Jake Hager is the muscle of the Jericho Appreciation Society, being a hard-hitting wrestler that provides a lot of power that others in the group cannot match. Because of his legitimate amateur wrestling and MMA background, he is someone audiences can also take seriously, which is why he is so entertaining.
However, cutting promos is something that has never been a strength of his throughout his entire career in the business, whether that was in WWE or AEW. Fans will be quick to point to his speech impediment as the reasoning behind that, but it is mainly due to the fact he often rushes into promos and gets things wrong at times which can mean what he says lacks the impact he hopes for.
7 Anna Jay
Anna Jay is the least experienced member of the faction, and that is something that can shine through in her promos at times. Just like everyone in the faction, Jay is perfectly fine when given the microphone and she is never somebody that fans aren't interested in hearing from, which is a good sign.

She is yet to add too much emotional range into everything that she does with promos, but that is something that will come with time and opportunities, which she gets here. Jay is strong in the backstage promos and excels at adding quick one-liners to situations as well.
6 Tay Melo
Much like Hager and Jay, Tay Melo can sometimes suffer from rushing through her promos which doesn't always get the message across. However, unlike those two she plays that into her character as she is always full of energy and aggression, which makes her promos work well.
Melo is someone who has improved drastically throughout her time in AEW when it comes to all facets of her career, and that is something that is likely going to continue particularly as she gets further opportunities to talk.
5 Sammy Guevara
Sammy Guevera has always been a confident talker, and that much has been clear from early on in his AEW career. While he doesn't quite boast the emotional range yet to truly be one of the best in the business, for the arrogant heel role he is currently playing he does things perfectly.
He can easily talk the fans into absolutely hating him and that is ultimately what he is in the group to do as he is a real heat magnet. There are times when he might not nail everything that he says, but for the most part, he is a good talker, even if he can get himself into trouble at points.
4 Daniel Garcia
Daniel Garcia was originally one of the weaker promos in the Jericho Appreciation Society when he first got into the group, but that is something that he has been able to work on quickly. The character change of being a sports entertainer has allowed him to tap into a more over-the-top version of himself and that has worked.

Garcia thrives through being free to act a little goofy, showcasing more of his personality at times. His promo skills have come a long way, and he is quickly developing into a good talker who has his own style rather than copying something generic.
3 Angelo Parker
Angelo Parker doesn't always get tons of time to speak in comparison to certain other members of the group, however, he is one of the best talkers in the Jericho Appreciation Society. He is somebody that brings plenty of charisma to everything that he does which helps him being entertaining.
Parker is growing in confidence and getting further opportunities as he keeps developing his character, and that is something that has worked well for him as a talent. He keeps things simple and to the point, and that is something that works well.
2 Matt Menard
Matt Menard has been a true hidden gem for AEW that has been uncovered due to the Jericho Appreciation Society with his promo skills being a big part of that. At first, the tag team member was someone who would only get a few moments to speak, but that has changed due to how entertaining he has been.

Whenever he grabs the microphone Menard normally has something hilarious to say, and he will always get the AEW fans laughing. He will flip out and lose his cool quickly too which adds to his character dynamic a little further.
1 Chris Jericho
Out of all the group members, it is certainly Chris Jericho that boasts the best promo skills with the veteran star being a fantastic talker. This has always been one of Jericho's strongest traits, and because he is the leader of the faction he tends to get the most time to talk anyway, which is a good thing.
Jericho knows how to talk any wrestling fan into the building which is one of the reasons he has enjoyed so much success over his years in the industry. He can be funny, sympathetic, and incredibly serious all in one promo, and that range and his ability to react to any situation no matter how it unfolds seriously helps him.
