Dillon Danis asserts negotiations underway with UFC Hall of Famer for his next MMA bout. The fighter, known as 'El Jefe', has been inactive since his disqualification loss to Logan Paul at a Misfits Boxing event in October. Throughout the bout, Danis engaged in trolling antics, including attempted takedowns and submissions.
Following the event, Danis declared retirement from combat sports, concluding his MMA record at 2-0 and boxing record at 0-1. The controversial fighter is best known as Conor McGregor’s grappling coach and his brawl with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

The controversial fighters appeared at McGregor’s Road House premiere and gave an interview to MMA Fighting. He revealed that he is set for an MMA comeback.
"I'm probably going to be fighting a former UFC champion, a Hall of Famer in MMA.” He didn’t disclose which promotion but said the announcement will be big as the opponent in well known.
Danis previously campaigned to join the UFC but UFC CEO Dana White wasn’t sold on the idea, stating:
“We don’t need that s*** to sell fights…The athletic commission goes crazy and people start getting fined and they come after us. It’s our job to keep that s*** under control. That’s why when you see these other events with these guys and everything breaks out like that…It’s a total, unprofessional clown show.”
Danis later claimed he would decline an opportunity to fight on Dana White’s Contender Series or The Ultimate Fighter.

Dana White has finally responded to Dillon Danis's calls to join the UFC.Despite facing injuries throughout his MMA career, Dillon Danis ventured into influencer boxing. Originally slated to debut against British YouTube star KSI, he withdrew from the bout a mere ten days before the event. Subsequently, he arranged a match with Logan Paul. Notably, Danis engaged in trolling antics aimed at Paul's fiancée, Nina Agdal, sharing various photos of her with men, some from past relationships, others manipulated through photoshop, and encounters with celebrities at events.
Agdal subsequently filed a restraining order against Danis and added the claim of defamation which didn’t stop the controversial fighter from posting her.
