According to a few sources that are citing a report from Fightful Select, Brock Lesnar has earned himself a bit of heat backstage in WWE. The issue apparently stems from Brock going off-script during the Royal Rumble match, both in terms of him tossing an official over the barricade and then throwing steel steps on the announce table during a post-elimination freak-out. The elimination at the hands of Bobby Lashley was planned, but the stuff with the steps and referee Eddie Orengo was not.
It's probably important to note that this is only being categorized as "a little heat". Whether the official was upset or WWE was just looking after one of their own who wasn't expecting to have to take a nasty bump, most parties are probably fine now and things smoothed over. This could be as simple as a quick conversation that went something to the effect of, 'Brock, just let us know next time.' Orengo having to fly over the barricade and into the front row was not a part of the plan and could have gone badly. Further to that, it is being said that the official's involvement in a spot towards the end of the Men's Royal Rumble had to be scrapped as he had to sell the attack from Lesnar.
As for the steel steps being tossed onto the announce table, it's being reported this wasn't planned either and isn't a bigger deal because those around ringside know to be on high alert when it comes to Lesnar's segments. One source said, "We knew a freak out was planned, and it's Brock, so expect anything and everything."
Lesnar Gets A Bit Of A Pass
Again, because Lesnar is Lesnar, things are brought up, but it doesn't sound like the term "heat" is even appropriate here. Lesnar isn't going to get in trouble and all parties are aware that this was just something that happened in the aftermath of his being a performer. Lesnar is not going to get in trouble or face any kind of punishment from WWE in relation to these incidents.
