There is no secret when it comes to the real-life relationship between two of WWE’s biggest and most popular stars, Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins. WWE have made use of their companionship on-screen in the past, and whilst it isn’t acknowledged too often any longer, there are clear nods and winks to it. One of the clear, major links is Becky Lynch’s newfound fashion sense.
Seth Rollins Has Unveiled A Crazy Wardrobe
Seth Rollins has been on the heel side ever since the disastrous end to his face run in 2019, with him developing in the The Messiah. Whilst that role did see him sport some unique clothing, it was his repackaging following the 2021 Royal Rumble which saw a wardrobe explosion. Rollins became an over-the-top heel with clothing to match, with a mix of hideous, flashy, colourful, sometimes stylish, but mostly downright obscene fashion.

This has been the most popular version and convincing heel version of Rollins for some time, and fans have been looking forward to seeing what combination of apparel he wears week to week, and it helps to add a layer to his character in a time where WWE makes it difficult for its talents to create depth to their gimmicks. Whilst it could be argued that the clothing is all that Rollins has, its better than nothing.
Since Lynch’s Return, She Has Followed Suit
Since Becky Lynch’s shocking return to WWE at Summerslam in the past year, coming back from maternity leave after she and Rollins had their first child, she has undergone a heel turn. Despite being one of the most popular faces WWE has seen in some time, they pushed with the decision to make her a villain. Whilst her promo work in unsurprisingly is good in the role, fans are having a tough time at buying it (for the second time).

One good addition to this new character that Lynch is performing, is a brand-new look, courtesy of obnoxious clothing. Similar to Rollins, she has embarked on finding some of the most garish, loud, bright pieces to come off as cocky, arrogant, and far too eccentric for the fans to side with. Whether it be unique and grand hairstyles, retina-burning in-ring gear, or huge fur jackets and coats donned when cutting promos and in backstage segments, she is making statement after statement when it comes to her look and style.
Rollins And Lynch Could Finally Have On-Screen Chemistry
When WWE paired Rollins and Lynch together the first time round, they struggled at showcasing their chemistry on-screen. With overly scripted promos, poor feuds, and the difficulty to not be a smiling, happy-go-lucky babyface in the WWE world, their pairing flopped. It’s much easier to be a heel in WWE, with seemingly less constraints, and a more attractive style of promo, so when trying to push the relationship between two babyfaces, it was going to always be an uphill battle.

However, when looking at WWE today, if a new viewer were to be asked which two superstars were in a relationship together, they would very likely draw conclusion to Lynch and Rollins. With their new condescending and entitled personalities, in addition to mirrored looks when it comes to going overboard with fashion, they currently show more chemistry separately than they ever did on-screen back in 2019.
Their two styles perfectly mesh, despite the absurdity of their costumes at times, and if WWE were ever going to push for their pairing together on WWE programming, now would be as perfect a time as any. Seeing the pair of them together, flaunting their styles, talking down to other talents and the audience, could garner a lot of heat, and could even be the key to making fans turn on Lynch properly in her current heel run. Being a cackling, detestable celebrity pairing would be an interesting and intriguing gimmick in the current wrestling landscape and could benefit both stars tremendously.
