Alexa Bliss has spent a lot of time away from WWE lately. She had no sooner than returned last year, when after her Royal Rumble match against Bianca Belair this past January, she disappeared and hasn't been seen since. With the revealing of her surprise pregnancy, we know we won't be seeing Bliss in WWE for a long time yet, but the former Women's Champion is already planning her return.
In an interview with The Messenger, Bliss spoke about her WWE goals, saying, "[WWE] extended my contract, and so it's just basically come back when I'm ready. Probably a month after the baby, I'll start probably getting back into the gym, and getting ready for to see what my in-ring return looks like."
Bliss also talked about why we hadn't seen her of late in WWE. "WWE gave me time off for [Masked Singer] to kind of fully dive into that experience with rehearsals, vocal lessons, and all that stuff. Storyline-wise, I was not on TV anyway, so it really kind of worked out perfectly."

How Did Alexa Bliss Find Out She Was Pregnant?
As Alexa Bliss told The Messenger, before finding out she was pregnant, she was set to return to WWE. "I was preparing for my return in the ring and I was just having really bad cramping. I thought that was weird. So then I just decided to take a test and then I think I said, 'Oh s—t.'"
Cabrera spoke about impending parenthood as well, saying, "We always talked about that we were definitely going to have kids and we both have wanted kids. We just didn't know what the right time was with everything. And then it just accidentally happened. At first we were both like, 'Uh oh, what are we going to do? After a couple days, it actually settled in, we're like, 'You know what? This is actually a great time for us. We got to be just married for a year, so we got to enjoy honeymoons and fun stuff like that. And just [enjoy] each other."
The wrestling world has been baby crazy the past few years with the likes of Brandi Rhodes, Renee Paquette, Becky Lynch, and Lacey Evans all having children. Just a few weeks ago, WWE's Carmella announced that she was pregnant, and at AEW's Double or Nothing pay-per-view, Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti announced that they are expecting as well.
