WWE has an incredible talent roster, with some of the most amazing sports entertainers on the planet. Unfortunately, the mass of talent signed by WWE, leads to many stars not being utilized as well as they could be. With the girth of talent, many superstars seem to just disappear from WWE television, yet they remain contracted to the company. Yet, these stars could find tremendous success elsewhere if they were given the chance to sign with another promotion. While WWE doesn't usually let talent walk away take a look at these 8 talent that deserve an opportunity to shine.

WWE is the biggest wrestling promotion of today, and of all time as well. So, to make it to the big leagues, you have to be truly talented, and there is no doubt that there are many extremely talented wrestlers in WWE, in one aspect or another. However, among so many superstars, there are some who don't stand out. These wrestlers get stuck for months or years, don't evolve, are booked poorly, don't get opportunities, and simply don't find success in the company. So, without further ado, let's take a look at eight male acts who are not working well in WWE, and who they should sign with instead.

16 Shelton Benjamin

Shelton Benjamin is a three-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, a former United States Champion and a three-time World Tag Team Champion, yet his time in WWE needs to come to an end. Benjamin has been an afterthought on WWE television these days.

Since the Hurt Business ended, Shelton Benjamin hasn't had any worthwhile storylines. Yet, Shelton still looks amazing and has the ability to put on world-class matches. WWE needs to let Shelton chase the World Title that has eluded him throughout his career.

15 Sheldon Benjamin Should Sign With Ring Of Honor

Tony Khan's purchase of Ring of Honor wrestling has allowed the AEW boss to continue the ROH tradition. With AEW still keeping the ROH World Championship around, Benjamin could compete for the Ring of Honor World Championship.

Benjamin has a history in ROH, where he is a two-time former Tag Team Champion. Allowing Benjamin to compete in ROH and potentially win a World TItle would be a great way for the Gold Standard to end his career.

14 Elias

Elias has a great look and has been hugely over with WWE fans, yet he hasn't achieved as much as he should have in WWE. The talented superstar has experienced several starts and stops on WWE television that has led to him seeming unimportant.

To date, Elias has four WWE 24/7 titles on his resume but no other titles. Elias would even re-brand himself as Ezekiel (brother of Elias). WWE would name Elias the Breakout Superstar of 2018, but he has not lived up to that endorsement.

13 Elias Should Sign With All Elite Wrestling

Elias popping up on All Elite Wrestling would pop any sports entertainment crowd. Fans believe that Elias deserves better in WWE. If Tony Khan made that happen in AEW that could be huge. Elias could be a great addition to the AEW roster.

With AEW developing its Saturday night show, Collision, Elias could make an impact. All Elite Wrestling could "walk with Elias". Elias could truly break out on AEW and compete at the very top of the card. AEW could easily stand for All Elias Wrestling.

12 The Good Brothers

The Good Brothers, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows are one of the best tag teams in the entire world. Yet, WWE continually drops the ball with the two stars. Even in a WWE that has embraced factions, the Club seems to only exist for a mid-card push of A.J. Styles.

While WWE has put two RAW Tag Team titles on the Good Brothers, they are not treated like the stars they truly are. As part of the New Japan Bullet Club, Gallows and Anderson dominated sports entertainment.

11 The Good Brothers Should Sign With NJPW

The Good Brothers are former three-time New Japan Tag Team Champions. With that resume, Anderson and Gallows could return to New Japan with great fanfare. The American duo could continue to add to that resume and grow their international legacy in New Japan.

Both could also be featured in the single's division in New Japan. Karl Anderson is a former New Japan NEVER Open Weight Champion. Returning to New Japan would be the very best option for the Good Brothers. A successful run would, once again, open up many doors for the duo.

10 Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin has been working for WWE since 2012, and despite his experience, he still hasn't found success with the company. In fact, Corbin hasn't even found a direction in which to steer his character, and it's clear that the writers have no idea what to do with him either.

Corbin has had several personas already, but none have been good enough. Recently it was Sad Corbin, then Happy Corbin, then Baron Corbin alongside JBL, and now he's on his own again. Those last few months perfectly reflect Corbin's inconsistent career.

9 Baron Corbin Should Sign With Impact Wrestling

It seems like it's time for Baron Corbin to experience something new in his career, and a change of scenery might be good for him. Impact Wrestling could be a good fit for him. Corbin could come to Impact as a heel with credibility, as he comes from working in WWE, facing and defeating some of the best wrestlers in the world.

That real-life fact could be well suited to kayfabe to create a worthwhile new character from scratch. And it surely wouldn't be a problem for Corbin to adapt to Impact's style of wrestling, because he's a solid in-ring worker.

8 Angel

Angel is a good in-ring performer, but he doesn't get opportunities to showcase his talent. In fact, the last time he had a singles match longer than five minutes on the main roster was in February 2021, against Damian Priest.

But when he gets enough time, he can tell a good story and perform good moves. Unfortunately, he barely gets any screen time, only for filler matches, and he doesn't even have a good gimmick.

7 Angel Should Sign With AAA

After four years in WWE, it has become clear that the company doesn't need Angel. He is a talented guy, who could be useful in different circumstances, but neither Vince McMahon nor Triple H showed interest in pushing him, nor in using him properly.

So, the best thing for Angel would be to continue his career elsewhere, and why not in his native Mexico? Angel's style fits perfectly in Lucha Libre AAA, and there he would surely become a main eventer.

6 Ma.çé

Ma.çé is 6' 7" and currently has a modeling gimmick. That sentence should be enough to describe that he is not working out in WWE. It's just absurd that a guy with monster size has such a ridiculous gimmick.

Ma.çé never stood out in the six years he's been in WWE, but he's definitely hit rock bottom and should move on to another promotion. He's 32 years old, so he's still relatively young to wrestle.

5 Ma.çé Should Sign With Impact Wrestling

Ma.çé is not the best giant, but he is not the worst either. He has strength, he's agile considering his size, and he has a decent moveset, and those are tools with which you can build something interesting.

But WWE has no interest in exploiting his potential, though maybe Impact Wrestling does. Frankly, Ma.çé could dominate that promotion if properly booked, he could be Impact's world champion.

4 Mustafa Ali

Mustafa Ali is an extremely talented performer. He has a flawless technique, and a great arsenal of moves, with flashy, complex maneuvers, and he has a sense of storytelling and in-ring psychology. As a matter of fact, he has put on several amazing performances, especially in the 205 division.

As if that wasn’t enough, he can talk, and he does good character work. So, we are talking about a great worker, but unfortunately, he’s been underused, and his talent is being wasted in WWE. He's currently being used in NXT where he has actually won a few matches, but failed to win the North American Championship at the Great American Bash 2023.

3 Mustafa Ali Should Sign With AEW

After six years in WWE, Mustafa Ali is still stuck in the mid-card. He has won no championships, and he has not gotten many opportunities either. Ali deserves better, that’s for sure, and perhaps AEW is a good place for him to be.

Ali would probably shine in AEW, if he receives a chance, he will probably stand out and made his mark. There are plenty of possibilities for Ali in AEW, and he could even go to Ring Of Honor.

2 Butch

Butch, known as Pete Dunne in NXT, has the potential to succeed in WWE's main roster. However, since he got the call-up, he hasn't worked out well. It was all Vince McMahon's fault at first for completely changing his identity, as he named him Butch and practically erased everything about Pete Dunne.

Then, under Triple H, Butch at least got his in-ring gear back and was allowed to wrestle his style a bit more, but there were no significant changes in his booking. He recently competed in the 2023 Money In The Bank match, easily the most high-profile match of his WWE main roster career.

1 Butch Should Sign With AEW

We are talking about a major talent that is being wasted. Butch has a unique wrestling style, his intensity and explosiveness are great, and his innovative small joint manipulation offense is something out of this world. So, if his WWE situation doesn't change, he should sign with AEW.

That promotion seems ideal for Butch, as he would have a little more freedom there, he could take his matches to another level, and surely Tony Khan would know how to book him.
