Ric Flair has been one of the best wrestlers ever, his great ability in the ring allowed him to obtain an impressive record and a large number of championships; the truth is that he had a magnificent career.

Most of the time he won the title, he was a worthy champion and maintained his reign for long periods of time, however, on some occasions, surprisingly, his reign lasted in the blink of an eye.
10 Longest: NWA World Heavyweight Title – 412 days
This title reign began on August 9, 1986, when Ric Flair defeated Dusty Rhodes in St. Louis, Missouri.
Flair was an invincible champion for 168 matches, no one could beat him, no one could match him. He defeated Dusty Rhodes, Ronnie Garvin, Dick Murdoch, Brad Armstrong, Nikita Koloff, Barry Windham and other great wrestlers multiple times.
However, everything has its end, and it was Ronnie Garvin who finally defeated Flair and took the title from him on September 25, 1987.
9 Shortest: World Tag Team Title – 8 days
"The Dirtiest Player In The Game" teamed up with Roddy Piper and on November 5, 2006, at WWE Cyber Sunday they claimed the World Tag Team Title after beating The Spirit Squad (Kenny and Mikey).
And just eight days later, in episode 703 of WWE Monday Night RAW, they were defeated by Rated-RKO (Edge and Randy Orton) and had to turn in the belts.
This was the last title of Ric Flair's career, and it was a shame that it lasted so short a time.
8 Longest: NWA World Heavyweight Title – 426 days
From this point on, the stratospheric figures for Slick Ric began. Holding onto a world title for 426 days seems impossible, something that can only be achieved in dreams, but for him it was quite real.

He won the title on May 7, 1989, after defeating Ricky Steamboat and managed to defend the belt for 47 matches. This title reign became of the most impressive feats of his career.
The lucky one who managed to strip him of the title was Sting on July 7, 1990, at NWA The Great American Bash.
7 Shortest: WCW World Heavyweight Title – 7 days
This is one of the shortest title reigns of Ric Flair's career, but it wasn't because he lost it to another wrestler but because Vince Russo stripped Ric Flair of the title.
It was May 15, 2000, when Flair defeated Jeff Jarrett in episode 243 of WCW Monday Nitro, this being the seventh time that he had won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. But seven days later, Vince Russo simply decided to take the title from him and gave it back to Jeff Jarrett, without justification.
6 Longest: NWA World Heavyweight Title – 452 days
On November 26, 1989 at Starrcade, Ric Flair defeated Ronnie Garvin and became the NWA World Heavyweight Champion for the sixth time in his career.
"The Nature Boy" defended the title during 101 matches, something totally huge and incredible. Big callers like Sting, Dusty Rhodes, Michael Hayes, Lex Luger and Rick Steiner came to challenge him but he defeated them all.
His reign ended on February 20, 1990 when he lost to Ricky Steamboat after 23 minutes. How lucky were those who enjoyed this masterful Flair era.
5 Shortest: NWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Title – 6 days
To remember this reign, it is necessary to travel back many decades in wrestling history, precisely 42 years ago. On October 30, 1978, Ric Flair and Big John Studd beat Paul Jones and Ricky Steamboat to conquer the NWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Championship.
The joy did not last long because on November 5 of that year, Paul Jones and Ricky Steamboat took revenge and took back the belts.
At that time, Ric Flair was 29-years-old and was just beginning to make his way to his journey on becoming arguably the best wrestler to ever live.
4 Longest: NWA World Heavyweight Title – 631 days
Ric Flair was absolutely ridiculous, it is very difficult to believe that a wrestler could be so dominant, it is very likely that this will never happen again in wrestling history.
This was the first time Flair was consecrated to the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, and his reign lasted from September 17, 1981 to June 10, 1983.

On May 29, 2000, champion Kevin Nash decided to hand the title over to Ric Flair, without even fighting, simply awarded it to him. But a few hours later, Jeff Jarrett defeated Flair and stripped him of the title. This was in episode 245 of WCW Monday Nitro.

2 Longest: NWA World Heavyweight Title – 793 days
This is one of the most fantastic title reigns in the history of wrestling. During this time, Ric Flair lasted 793 days as champion, an unreal figure and one that anyone would think to be impossible.
During his reign he fought 410 matches and did not lose, how was that possible?
It seems that there are no words to describe this feat, it can be said that at this precise point in history Ric Flair had already secured his place in the hall of fame and had already became a legend.
1 Shortest: WCW International World Heavyweight Title – A Few Seconds
Yes, Ric Flair had a title reign of just a few seconds.
On June 23, 1994, a unification match was held, the then WCW International World Heavyweight Champion Sting would face the WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair.
Ultimately, Ric Flair managed to defeat Sting and only became WCW Intercontinental Title for a few seconds because it would immediately be unified with the WCW World Heavyweight Title. Even though this title reign was incredibly short, it still added to the glory of the Nature Boy as Flair retired one of the most significant titles in WCW at the time.
