WWE storylines are often compared to soap operas, thanks to their outrageous nature and over-the-top drama. With that said, while scripted love stories that occur in that squared circle can sometimes melt fans' hearts (looking at you, Otis and Mandy Rose), the ones that unravel backstage are even that much more romantic.

While there are many real-life WWE couples that have come and gone, and some that are still together, below are some love affairs that would make any fan's heart swoon.
10 Randy Orton and Kim Marie Kessler
Any fans out there dream about meeting their favorite WWE superstar, falling in love, and getting married? Fantasy became reality just a few years back, when Kim, a huge fan of Orton's and the WWE, met her favorite superstar at a live event in New York, her hometown. According to reports, Randy was the one to make the first move and introduced himself to her, and the two clearly hit it off and started dating shortly after.

The rest, as they say, is history! Kim and Randy tied the knot in 2015, had a beautiful daughter together in 2016, and are raising Kim's three boys and Orton's other daughter (from a previous marriage); living out their happily ever after.
9 CM Punk and AJ Lee
Back in 2012, AJ Lee and CM Punk were placed in a storyline together where Lee became obsessed with Punk, and later tried to mess with his WWE Championship reign when she was the General Manager of RAW. Working together, the two started dating off-screen, and would eventually get married in June 2014.
As most fans know, Punk left the WWE earlier that year, with some major accusations regarding the company's medical team. Feeling "caught in the middle" between her employer and husband, as well as cervical spine damage she suffered, and feeling that she really did accomplish all the goals she set out to do in pro wrestling, Lee would follow Punk's lead and retire from sports entertainment in April 2015. The two remain happily married to this day.
8 Tyson Kidd and Natalya
No sweeter love story than that of young love! Nattie met TJ Wilson at the young age of 12, and the two officially started dating when she was 19. No stranger to the infamous Hart family Dungeon, Wilson began training with Stu Hart in 1995, and has been friends with Harry Smith and Teddy Hart since he was 10; so, he's really been an official member of the Hart family for a long while now.
Nattie and TJ tied the knot in June 2013, and continue to work together in the WWE, with Wilson as a producer, and Natalya as one of the top female talent on RAW today.
7 Edge and Beth Phoenix
While they both worked for the WWE for some years together, Edge recently stated during his WWE 24 documentary that the first time he met Beth was during the 2011 "Edge Appreciation Night" held after the September 13th edition of SmackDown, which was taped in his hometown of Toronto. The two started dating shortly after a conversation they had that night, realizing they were trained by the same people, at the same gym, learning they wrestled at the same locations some years apart.

The WWE Hall of Fame couple shares two daughters together, and if their social media handles are even a small indication of the chemistry they share together, then they are certainly living their best life right now, together.
6 Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch
Can traveling down the same WrestleMania road bond two wrestlers? Seems like it did for Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch! Both were crowned 2019 winners of their respective Royal Rumble matches that year, and during Rollins' WWE 365 documentary, he explained that while they had been friends for many years, they entered the romance zone during Royal Rumble season, sharing their first kiss at the end of January 2019.
Lynch and Rollins are now engaged, and the WWE power couple is expected to tie the knot, sometime soon.
5 Jon Moxley and Renee Young
Despite working for different wrestling companies, Renee Young and Jon Moxley continue to make their romance work. While Moxley's in-ring gimmicks have had quite the reputation of being "crazy" over the years, when it comes to wife Renee, he can be quite the sweetheart.

Reports have indicated that Moxley was the one who pursued Young when it came to dating, and during an interview with talkSPORT's Gorilla Position, Moxley stated that Renee was the most "beautiful" girl in the world. Awwww!
4 Kurt Angle and Giovanna Yannotti
For those who love their social media, one look at Kurt and Giovanna Angle's Instagram accounts, and it is clear that the two have a cute, quirky, and romantic relationship. Despite their significant age difference - he's 51 and she's 33 - the couple have an incredible love story.
Angle and Yannotti met during filming of the movie End Game in 2009. Interestingly enough, Yannotti had no clue that Angle was a wrestling legend, and the two would become friends, and then start dating. They are now married, with a blended family of six kids in total! Two children that Kurt has from a previous relationship, three girls, and a teenage son they recently adopted.
3 Mike and Maria Kanellis
The two met at a Northeast Wrestling show first, while they were dating other people, and began a relationship in 2011. They'd use their off-screen chemistry for on-screen storylines, working together for promotions like Ring of Honor, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Impact, before eventually entering the WWE.
Getting hitched in 2014, the couple share two adorable children, Freddie and Carver.
2 Booker T and Sharmell
Digging through the wrestling romance history vault, we come across a beautiful love story that developed during the Monday Night Wars. She was a WCW Nitro Girl trying to dance her way into the sports entertainment business, while he was one of the company's top superstars, breaking barriers and gathering championships left, right, and center.
Booker T and Sharmell started dating in 2000, and eventually tied the knot in 2005. The couple share a set of twins, boy and girl, and also a son from a previous relationship of Booker's.
1 Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella
Seems weird to think that both Bella Twins have "made out" with Daniel Bryan, as Brie and Nikki were involved in a storyline with the YES Movement leader back in 2010 that saw the sisters "competing" for his affection. While Gail Kim ended up winning his heart onscreen in the end, Brie Bella won his love in real life, which may make the entire thought of he and Nikki locking lips truly worth it in some ways.
The couple has been through a tremendous amount of ups and downs over the years, which has been well documented on reality shows Total Divas and Total Bellas, but this down-to-earth, eco-loving couple continue to share a love story and romance that could melt any WWE fan's heart. The two are married, with a sweet daughter, and another little one on the way!
