With that said, let's take a look at ten random championships you didn't know these current All Elite Wrestling stars held before they made their debuts for Tony Khan's promotion.
10 Powerhouse Hobbs - GRPW Dynamite Division Champion
Powerhouse Hobbs has established himself as a legitimate contender in the mid-card and tag team picture in All Elite Wrestling and is continuing his pursuit for his first championship in the company.
However, he has held various championships during his time in the independent circuit, and the list includes a run with Gold Rush Pro Wrestling's Dynamite Division Championship. Only three wrestlers have held the title so far, and Hobbs, under the name Will Rood, became the inaugural champion in September 2013.
9 Jeff Jarrett - Vendetta Pro Western States Championship
Wrestling fans are well-aware of Jeff Jarrett's being a former 4-time WCW Champion and 6-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion. However, Jarrett has also won several titles from lesser-known independent promotions, including the Vendetta Pro Wrestling Western States Championship.
He won the championship from Matt Riviera in May 2015 but held it only for a couple of days before dropping it back to the former champion. Only four wrestlers have held the championship so far, and the current champion, Rik Luxury, is holding on to the title for over 2400 days since he won it in May 2016, and his last known defense took place in October 2018.
8 Wardlow - Revenge Pro World Championship
Wardlow is making quite the strides in his current run with All Elite Wrestling, and he's already held the AEW TNT Championship on one occasion. Apart from the TNT title, Wardlow has had five title reigns across various promotions during his time in the independent circuit. He became the inaugural Revenge Pro Wrestling World Champion in July 2019 by winning a Gauntlet Match. He held the title for only 56 days before dropping it to Pretty Boy Smooth in September 2019.

Since then, only two other wrestlers have held the title and the current champion Bill Collier has been holding the championship since November 2019.
7 Sonny Kiss - Tier 1 Championship
Current AEW wrestler Sonny Kiss has held five championships during her time in the independent circuit, and the list includes a very short reign with the Tier 1 Wrestling Championship. Established in 2015, the Tier 1 Championship was held by five wrestlers, and Sonny Kiss was the third. She won the title from Rude Boy Riley on December 11, 2016, but lost it the same day to Darius Carter.
The title has been defunct since 2017, and the last wrestler to hold the championship was Darius Carter, who is also the only 2-time champion with the title.
6 Ruby Soho - A1 Alpha Male Championship
Ruby Soho made the headlines when she made her debut for All Elite Wrestling in September 2021 after she got released from her WWE contract as part of the budget cuts earlier that year.
She's won multiple championships across various promotions over the years, and she has also won Alpha-1 Wrestling's Alpha Male Championship. Both male and female wrestlers have held the title in the past, and Soho, under the name Heidi Lovelace won it from Josh Alexander in May 2016 and held it for a decent 126 days before dropping it to Kobe Durst in September of the same year.
5 Orange Cassidy - WrestleJam Championship
The King of Soft Style Orange Cassidy worked under the name Fire Ant for most of his time in the independent circuit and won multiple championships over the years. The list also includes a reign with the WrestleJam Championship, which he won in a five-way match against Hallowicked, Darby Allin, Gran Akuma, and Zenshi in November 2017.
However, the reign wouldn't last long as the title and the promotion went defunct after the event he won the title. Apart from him, Hallowicked was the only wrestler to hold the title, and its legacy ended with Cassidy as the final holder.
4 Sammy Guevara - WAR City Heavyweight Championship
The Spanish God Sammy Guevara has made a name for himself in All Elite Wrestling by becoming a 3-time AEW TNT Champion. However, that isn't the only championship he's held in his career, as Guevara has captured many other titles across several independent promotions over the years.

One such title he captured during that period was the WAR City Heavyweight Championship. He won it from Erik Ortiz in November 2016 and is still holding onto the title for over 2200 days, and he hasn't made a single defense since he won it.
3 Malakai Black - FWG Lightweight Championship
Malakai Black is one of the hottest acts on the current AEW product, and his run as the leader of the House of Black faction is slowly building up Black for a potential main event push down the road.
Malakai Black has won multiple championships over the years, including one reign with the NXT Championship. However, there is one title run in his career that stands as an oddball among the others, and it's the Fiend Wrestling Germany Lightweight Championship. He won a tournament to win the title in April 2009, but the title, along with the promotion, became inactive following the event.
2 Kenny Omega - 4FW Junior Heavyweight Championship
Former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega is no stranger when it comes to championship gold, as he has added multiple championships to his collection during his time working in the independent circuit.
He had decent reigns with most of the titles he's won, but one stands out among the others as Omega only held the title for less than a day. Kenny Omega won the vacant 4 Front Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Championship in a match against Mark Haskins in January 2016. However, he held it for only one day as he relinquished it by claiming he was not a junior heavyweight.
1 Adam Cole & Britt Baker - WrestleCircus Big Top Tag Team Championship
It's not always a common sight to see real-life pro wrestling couples hold tag team championships together. While Sammy Guevara and Tay Conti became the latest example by winning the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championship with Tay Melo, Adam Cole and his girlfriend and former AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker had already done it back in 2017.
Cole and Baker defeated Beretta and Rocky Romero to win the WrestleCircus Big Top Tag Team Championship in August 2017. They held the title for 35 days before relinquishing them.
