Basketball is one of the most physical sports out there, requiring speed, strength, and technique, not to mention that energy and stamina are crucial to keeping up with such a fast-paced and dynamic game. So, that makes us think that maybe NBA players would make good wrestlers.

There are several NBA players who would be a perfect fit for WWE, as they fill all the boxes. And admittedly, it would be fun to see them in a wrestling ring, just like it was fun to see Dennis Rodman and Karl Malone in WCW. So, without further ado, let's take a look at 10 NBA players who would make incredible WWE wrestlers.

10 LeBron James

LeBron James is arguably the most complete player in NBA history, he has always been the complete package. Strength, speed, technique, offense, defense, durability, and longevity. With that said, it sounds like King James would be an incredible wrestler.

He would be an all-rounder, with great offense and a great moveset. He would be a great seller as well because he always sells fouls against him very well. Also, James would work very hard to be the best wrestler.

9 Anthony Davis

LeBron James' teammate, Anthony Davis, would also fit in the WWE. We are talking about one of the best defensive players in the league, as long as he is healthy of course.

Davis is slow, but he's powerful, so he could certainly destroy some opponents in the WWE. Plus, he's intimidating, so he could be a great heel. Davis would be an incredible wrestler, albeit injury prone.

8 Giannis Antetokounmpo

When Giannis Antetokounmpo runs to the hoop, there is no player capable of stopping him. His power and strength are simply incredible, he looks like a train without brakes. Now imagine that power and explosiveness in a wrestling ring, it would be amazing, wouldn't it?

Antetokounmpo would be a lot of fun to watch, his matches would be very intense, with hard-hitting action, and his finisher could be a devastating Spear. Giannis would fit in WWE, no doubt about it.

7 Draymond Green

Draymond Green has a peculiar reputation for playing hard and dirty, but he's still had a great NBA career, and that's why he's one of the most hated players in the game today.

With that said, don't you think Green would make an excellent heel in the WWE? Imagine Green cheating in his matches, distracting the referee, taking cheap shots, and doing whatever it takes to win. Green is a natural heel.

6 Dwight Howard

Dwight Howard is one of the most jacked NBA players in recent years, and we know that looks are always important in the WWE. But that's just the tip of the iceberg because, in addition to looks, Howard has other things that make us think he would make a great wrestler.

He is a wrestling fan, and, in fact, he showed up at one of WWE's tryouts and impressed Triple H, at least with his promo skills. Triple H implied that if Howard proves he can wrestle, then he would get a shot in WWE.

5 Steven Adams

The 6'11", 265-pound center, Steven Adams, has arguments that would make him an interesting wrestler. He has an imposing appearance, much like Jason Momoa, no one would want to mess with him.

Plus, he's strong and powerful, although he's pretty slow. So, it looks like the New Zealander could be an entertaining powerhouse wrestler, although his moveset would likely be limited.

4 Blake Griffin

He may not look like it, but Blake Griffin is one of the strongest players of his generation. He can guard the ball like no other player, and he can get open without the need to foul. Griffin has had an outstanding NBA career, but would he be a good wrestler?

At first glance it seems like Griffin would handle himself in a wrestling ring, drawing on his power and explosiveness to take care of his opponents. He would be fun to watch.

3 Joel Embiid

The reigning NBA MVP and the only foreign player to win the scoring title (and he's done it in two consecutive years, by the way) couldn't be missing from this list. Joel Embiid would also make an incredible wrestler.

He's seven feet tall and weighs 280 pounds, but don't be fooled, he's a lot more agile than you think. Embiid would not be a typical "big man," but would have several tricks up his sleeve to conquer WWE.

2 Jimmy Butler

Jimmy Butler stole the show in the NBA Playoffs. In fact, he was arguably the best player of the playoffs, leading the Miami Heat further than anyone would have thought possible. Butler is a natural leader, that guy who shows up in the big moments.

Could Butler be a leader in WWE? Maybe. Butler could have his own stable, and if he leads it like he led the Heat, then his stable would be successful. As far as in-ring skills go, Butler would surely have a lethal offense.

1 Russell Westbrook

Russell Westbrook is well past his prime, but in his golden days, he could do it all. Remember when he averaged a triple-double per game in three consecutive campaigns (26.8 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 10.4 assists between 2016-17 and 18-19)?

Well, that version of Westbrook was insane. If we took that version of Westbrook to WWE, we'd be talking about a fast, agile, athletic, strong, charismatic wrestler with a remarkable fighting spirit.
