2022 will mark Rey Mysterio's two-decade anniversary with WWE. The Ultimate Underdog has left WWE during that time frame for four years, but his contributions to WWE have not gone unnoticed. Mysterio is a three-time WWE World Champion and a two-time Intercontinental Champion, and he has won plenty of other championships throughout his stints in WWE and WCW.

Mysterio is not the biggest competitor by any stretch of the imagination, but he makes up for his small stature with his in-ring awareness and his speed. Mysterio's triumph in the 2006 Royal Rumble match, his battles with Eddie Guerrero in 2005, and his World Heavyweight Championship victory at WrestleMania 22 are some of his remembered battles. As expected, some of Mysterio's matches are forgotten about, but it doesn't mean that some of them lacked quality.
10 Rey Mysterio Vs. Randy Orton - TLC 2018
Rey Mysterio and Randy Orton have had several battles throughout their legendary careers with their feud heightened in 2006. However, they revisited their feud 12 years later, and they collided in a forgotten chairs match at the TLC 2018 pay-per-view.
The veterans provided fans with an entertaining chairs match, and the length was perfectly fine. They know each other's styles extremely well, and Orton was back to his sadistic ways. Nevertheless, it was Mysterio who got the bragging rights on Orton with a hurricanrana for the victory.
9 Rey Mysterio Vs. Jamie Noble - Royal Rumble 2004
The Royal Rumble match is the main selling point of a Royal Rumble pay-per-view, and sometimes the undercard can get lost in the shuffle. That's what exactly happened at the 2004 Royal Rumble when Rey Mysterio put the WWE Cruiserweight Championship on the line against Jamie Noble.
It was the first time that the Cruiserweight Championship was defended at the Royal Rumble. This was one of the shortest matches in the history of the Rumble with the bout lasting three minutes and 12 minutes. Despite the shortness, it was a decent battle with Mysterio retaining his title.
8 Rey Mysterio Vs. Chavo Classic - SmackDown (6/17/04)
Continuing with the theme of the Cruiserweight Championship, Rey Mysterio was looking to regain the title, and he battled Chavo Classic, who was the father of Chavo Guerrero Jr. and the older brother of Eddie Guerrero. Chavo Classic was the oldest Cruiserweight Champion in WWE history, and he was far past his prime.
Chavo Classic surprised fans with a moonsault. However, Mysterio was largely untroubled, and he connected with a seated senton. He executed the 619 on Chavo Classic, and he finished him off with a leg drop to once again hold the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.
7 Rey Mysterio Vs. The Great Khali Vs. Batista - Unforgiven 2007
Unforgiven 2007 featured Rey Mysterio challenging The Great Khali for the World Heavyweight Championship in a triple threat match that involved Batista. It's saying something when a match involving Khali is arguably the best match on the card.

Mysterio and Batista are former WWE Tag Team Champions, so they are no strangers to teaming up together. They momentarily removed Khali from the match. Mysterio was overpowered by both men, and Batista regained the World Heavyweight Championship with a Spinebuster on Khali.
6 Rey Mysterio & Sin Cara Vs. Team Rhodes Scholars - TLC 2012
The winners of the tag team tables match at TLC 2012 earned a future WWE Tag Team Championship match. Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara were on a collision course with Team Rhodes Scholars' Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow.
This was the curtain-raiser, and both teams got the show off to a blistering pace. Both teams had chances to win this match but the Rhodes Scholars prevailed as Cody pushed Sin Cara through the table, which was outside of the ring.
5 Rey Mysterio Vs. Tajiri - No Mercy 2003
Rey Mysterio was looking to reclaim the WWE Cruiserweight Championship from Tajiri at No Mercy 2003. The pair had outstanding chemistry in the ring together, and that's why their matches were entertaining. Both wrestlers were at the top of their games, and it was the perfect match to open up the show.
Mysterio executed the 619 and the West Coast Pop on Tajiri which Mysterio thought would be enough to seal the deal. However, Akio and Sakoda appeared which distracted Mysterio. Tajiri took advantage, and the Buzzsaw Kick was enough for Tajiri to retain his title.
4 Rey Mysterio & Batista Vs. Jeri-Show - Hell In A Cell 2009
Four former World Champions Rey Mysterio and Batista were involved in a Unified WWE Tag Team Championship match at Hell in a Cell 2009. They challenged Jeri-Show for the titles in a decent championship match.

Mysterio and Batista were smart as they isolated Chris Jericho and kept him away from Big Show. Both teams hit their respective finishers, and no one was able to keep the other down. Mysterio managed to connect with the 619 but Show got up and finished off Mysterio with a KO Punch. The World's Largest Athlete covered Mysterio to keep the titles in Jeri-Show's camp.
3 Rey Mysterio Vs. R-Truth - Over The Limit 2011
R-Truth turned heel in 2011, and Rey Mysterio collided with R-Truth in the opening match of the night at Over The Limit. Truth dominated the early exchanges of the match with his new demeanor as a vicious heel. The match was average, and it was designed to get further heat on Truth.
Mysterio had some offense but Truth had everything his way. Truth earned a handy win over Mysterio after he executed the Ultimate Underdog with his patented Shut Up.
2 Rey Mysterio Vs. Evan Bourne - Raw (10/27/08)
Evan Bourne was still a relatively new face in WWE in 2008, and he clashed with Rey Mysterio on the October 27, 2008 edition of Raw. The pair had mutual respect as they shook hands before the bell sounded. Both are masters of their trade when it comes down to aerial maneuvers.
This was a back and forth encounter with both men bringing the best out of each other. Mysterio attempted the West Coast Pop but Bourne countered it with a roll-up attempt with Mysterio countering again to see off Bourne in a fascinating matchup that is forgotten about.
1 Rey Mysterio & Rob Van Dam Vs. Kenzo Suzuki & Rene Dupree - No Mercy 2004
A pair of makeshift tag teams in Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam challenged Kenzo Suzuki and Rene Dupree for the WWE Tag Team Championship at No Mercy 2004. Suzuki and Dupree garnered heat as foreign heels, and both teams had decent chemistry together.
Mysterio and RVD worked as a cohesive unit with RVD kicking Suzuki which set up the 619. Mysterio was going for the 619 but Dupree pulled Mysterio off the ropes. Suzuki and Dupree stole the victory with Suzuki pinning Mysterio and using the ropes for leverage to retain the WWE Tag Team Championship.
