Why should WrestleMania be any different?! The took out the underrated combo of Paul Roma and Hercules, Power and Glory, in less time than it takes to get their gear off. With a well placed Brogue Kick, 19 years later, the one of most maligned was entries on this list doesn’t seem that maligned anymore. But still, fans had just been watching Bret Hart do just about everything to be a wrestling champion and try and put Yokozuna over. The Bolsheviks actually got a decent amount of screen time before getting their clocks cleaned by the Hart Foundation. Nikolai and Boris clowned around with Steve Allen before heading to the ring. Once there, 19 seconds in they interrupted the Bolsheviks singing the Russian anthem to club them over the heads and deliver the Hart Attack.
3 Sheamus Vs. Daniel Bryan - WrestleMania XVIII :18
An ill-timed kiss for good luck, a kick to the face for an easy pin, and a movement began that is still going strong almost a decade later. Nothing can stop the Yes Movement. Bryan couldn’t do it, Bryan’s heartbreaking retirement didn’t do it, and neither did the WWE doing all they could to curtail it. Despite purists initially being upset by a mere 18 second World Championship match between purist darling Daniel Bryan and the capable Sheamus, it was actually the big spark that created a monster.
