Crown Jewel made history for many reasons, the first ever WWE Queen of the Ring was crowned, Mansoor and Mustafa Ali were the first two muslim wrestlers to have a singles match on a WWE pay-per-view, but referee Jessika Carr made history for several reasons.

Jessika Carr refereed the third match between Edge and Seth Rollins which took place in Saudi Arabia inside Hell in a Cell. The match would see Rollins use Christians move against Edge, but the Rated-R Superstar would turn the tables and triumph over Rollins by using his own move, The Stomp, against him.

Whilst it was a great finish to a great trilogy of matches between the two men, the match will forever be remembered for all of the glass ceiling shattering that Jessika took part in, as Edge himself was quick to point out on his Instagram page after the show.
"I’m in the midst of my 22hr travel back home after #crownjewel and Hell in a Cell. More on that in a future post. But I wanted to take a moment to acknowledge something that may have gone unnoticed to some. Last night @wweladyrefjess refereed our match. Many firsts in doing that. The first woman to referee in Saudi Arabia. MASSIVE. Actually trying to move the needle in a positive direction," said Edge
"The first woman to referee Hell in a Cell. MASSIVE. She was in there for every part of this insane trilogy that I’m so proud of. Summerslam. Madison Square Garden. Crown Jewel. She’s knocking down barriers and I couldn’t be more proud of her," he added.
He also said that Jessika got the referreeing gig at WWE not because she's a woman but because she 'kicks so much ass at her job'. He added that he couldn't wait to explain to his daughters how important Jessika was to everything.
