The first-ever NXT Spring Breakin' went down on Tuesday night, and the show closed with a match for the NXT Title. Joe Gacy's first chance to be NXT 2.0's top guy, and despite dominating throughout the match, he didn't have what it takes to finish off Bron Breakker. The champ only needed one window of opportunity to get the win in this match, using it to hit a spear, cover Gacy, and retain his title.
Cameron Grimes Retains
Breakker wasn't the only Superstar to walk in and out of Spring Breakin' a champion. Cameron Grimes had to defend the North American Title against Carmelo Hayes and Solo Sikoa in the show's opener. A great choice as this might well have been the match of the night. Grimes pinned Sikoa for the win, taking nothing away from the potential future member of The Bloodline in the process, which potentially sets up Grimes versus Hayes in the future.

There was plenty of non-title action too. Natalya's stay in NXT 2.0 continued as she teamed with Lash Legend to take on Cora Jade and Nikkita Lyons. It was evident that Nattie had her work cut out making Legend look good in this match. Lyons and Jade combined for the win on Legend, hitting her with a split-leg drop and senton to win.
Roderick Strong Thwarts The Raiders
Even though news that Roderick Strong has requested his release made it out into the world today, the Diamond Mine leader was still heavily featured on NXT 2.0 this week. As The Creeds struggled to put down The Viking Raiders, Strong interfered and hit Erik with a knee to help his guys get the win. Suffice to say The Creeds weren't happy when they realized what had happened, but without Strong's help, they probably would have suffered defeat.
Elsewhere on the show, Nathan Frazier picked up a win over Grayson Waller in his first match in NXT 2.0, Wendy Choo and Roxanne Perez messed with Toxic Attraction, and Indi Hartwell and Duke Hudson started to navigate life without their other halves. Persia Pirotta and Dexter Lumis were part of last week's NXT releases. A full rundown of Spring Breakin's results can be found below.
