Ring Of Honor World Champion Jonathan Gresham aligned himself with Tully Blanchard and his band of brutes on this week's edition of AEW Rampage on TNT. It all went down It all went down at the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York on Wednesday, July 6 (although the episode didn't air until Friday, July 8).On the show, Gresham teamed up with Lee Moriarty -- with whom he will go one-on-one at next week's special Fyter Fest edition of Rampage -- to take on Tully Blanchard Enterprises members Toa Liona and Kaun (known collectively as The Gates Of Agony). It was during this match that Gresham made it clear where his loyalties lie.

The match was ostensible a handicap match as Gresham remained on the apron and refused to accept Moriarty's tag attempts on more than one occasion. While Moriarty bore the brunt of Kaun and Liona's wrath, Gresham fraternized with Tully on the outside. Moriarty put up a hell of a fight, but the odds were simply insurmountable. The finish came when Kaun knocked Moriarty's block off with a lethal lariat before Liona finished him off with a Juice Box for the 1-2-3.

As you might recall, Tully was in search of new clients after he was cut loose by FTR (Cash Wheeler & Dax Harwood) on the March 9 edition of AEW Dynamite. At ROH Supercard of Honor XV -- the first ROH pay-per-view of the Tony Khan era -- Tully announced that The Gates of Agony (Kaun & Toa Liona) had joined Tully Blanchard Enterprises too. Kaun and Liona defeated Shinobi Shadow Squad (Eli Isom & Cheeseburger) on the pre-show. Later in the night, Brian Cage became the third member of TBE.

As we covered, Tony Khan announced his acquisition of ROH in the opening segment of the March 2 edition of AEW Dynamite on TBS. During the post-AEW Revolution media scrum on Sunday, March 6, Khan confirmed that he will be booking Ring Of Honor when the beloved promotion returns from hiatus.
