The Four Horsewomen changed the game, as WWE women's wrestling was growing, but when they arrived, they made women's wrestling as important as men's wrestling. Bayley has been pivotal in that change, being one of the best female workers in the history of the company, always cutting good promos and delivering great matches.

Bayley was born to be a winner, and that is precisely why she has achieved so much in WWE, such as being the longest SmackDown Women's Title reign in history. However, Bayley has also gone through some tough times, such as her singles losses on WWE PPVs, which we will review below.
8 Vs. Charlotte Flair – Royal Rumble 2017
Bayley’s first singles PPV loss was at Royal Rumble 2017, when she challenged Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. This was a solid bout, but nothing extraordinary. Both women did a good job, Charlotte showing her dominance and Bayley making counters and comebacks.
For a moment it seemed that Bayley was going to win when she countered a Moonsault by Charlotte, but the latter kicked out. Then Charlotte hit the Natural Selection on the apron, which was enough for the 1-2-3. This was the first big match of this great rivalry.
7 Vs. Alexa Bliss – Payback 2017
On this occasion, Bayley defended the Raw Women's Title against Alexa Bliss. Frankly, most believed that Bayley would retain the title, as she won a fatal four-way match against Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks and Nia Jax at WrestleMania 33, but in the end, Alexa Bliss came out victorious.

It was impressive to see Alexa kick out of a Running Knee and Diving Elbow Drop combination, but ending the match with a DDT made Bayley look weak. Either way, it was a good match, with excellent character work from both, especially Alexa, who was a great heel at the time.
6 Vs. Alexa Bliss – Extreme Rules 2017
Bayley got her rematch against Alexa Bliss at Extreme Rules 2017. This was one of the worst matches of Bayley's career, and that's because the moment the Kendo Stick on a Pole stipulation was announced, you knew the match couldn't be good.
The story of the match was pretty silly, and the execution wasn't good either. Bayley and Alexa just tried to grab the Kendo stick, and when Alexa grabbed it, she punished Bayley, which would lead to a quick conclusion to the bout after six minutes.
5 Vs. Charlotte Flair – Hell In A Cell 2019
Bayley won the Money In The Bank Ladder match and cashed in her contract that same night, and took the SmackDown Women's Title from Charlotte Flair. Bayley managed to retain the title against Charlotte at Clash Of Champions, but at Hell In A Cell it was a completely different story.
It was a decent match, with well executed spots and good sequences, although it was overshadowed by the brutal Hell In A Cell match between Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks. Bayley had no choice but to tap out after suffering the Figure Eight from The Queen, thus dropping the title. After this defeat Bayley was absolutely devastated, which would lead to a big change in her persona.
4 Vs. Asuka - Clash Of Champions 2020
Bayley has probably been the best SmackDown Women's Champion in history, and her 380-day reign is proof of that. During that reign, Bayley had a streak of five consecutive singles wins on PPV, against Lacey Evans, Naomi, Tamina, Nikki Cross and Asuka, but the Japanese woman got her rematch at Clash Of Champions 2020 and defeated Bayley via disqualification.
Once again WWE's booking left much to be desired, as there were better ways to go about this match and protect both women, if that was the goal. This was Bayley's dumbest PPV loss, hands down.
3 Vs. Sasha Banks – Hell In A Cell 2020
Bayley betrayed her friend Sasha Banks, which was a big mistake, as it made Sasha very angry, and no one wants to see The Boss upset. Banks and Bayley collided in an epic Hell In A Cell match, a memorable battle, in which both pushed each other to their limits.

Sasha and Bayley put body and soul into this match, and in the end, it was Sasha Banks who got the win, taking revenge on Bayley by taking away her most prized possession, the SmackDown Women's Title. This was undoubtedly one of the best SmackDown women's rivalries of all time.
2 Vs. Bianca Belair – WrestleMania Backlash 2021
Bayley wasted no time in getting to the front of the line to face SmackDown Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, who had defeated Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 37. Bayley and Bianca Belair had a somewhat disappointing feud, with two solid matches, but it should have been much better considering the quality of the two of them.
At WrestleMania Backlash 2021, Bayley tried very hard to defeat Bianca, using her submissions and guile, but ironically Belair was the crafty one here, and rolled Bayley up for the win.
1 Vs. Bianca Belair – Hell In A Cell 2021
This was Bayley's last PPV singles match before she injured her knee, and it was also a loss. Bayley and Bianca Belair collided in a tremendous Hell In A Cell match, both women fought with intensity, performing some creative spots, with a good dose of brutality.
Bianca hit the KOD on Bayley on the ladder to win the match in epic fashion, in fact, that has to be one of the best KODs of Bianca Belair's career. Once again, Bayley lost to Belair, but surely Bayley will be back soon to seek her revenge.
