Ever since The Blackpool Combat Club formed, Chris Jericho was their arch-nemesis. He faced every member of the club in singles matches in 2022, including a trilogy of singles matches against Bryan Danielson.

9 WWE - Elimination Chamber Match (Survivor Series 2002)

Double or Nothing 2022 saw one of the many times The Jericho Appreciation Society took on The Blackpool Combat Club. The contest was stipulated as 'Anarchy in the Arena' and fans couldn't wait to see what AEW had in store.

Shawn Michaels was finally returning to the WrestleMania ring five years after losing to Stone Cold Steve Austin, and his opponent was none other than Chris Jericho. There was no special stipulation, nor was the match for any title, it was just the chemistry and animosity between the two stars that made this match an all-time classic.
