The All Elite Wrestling roster has the perfect blend of experienced and young wrestlers who are taking the company's product to the next level with their exceptional performances every week. When Tony Khan, Cody Rhodes, and The Elite opened AEW's doors of business back in 2019, they went on to hire world-class athletes from all over the globe. However, like any other workplace, AEW has its fair share of employees who ended up leaving the company as the years rolled by.

2022 has also seen multiple AEW wrestlers leave the company due to various reasons, and let's take a look at ten such wrestlers who have already become a very distant memory for the fans.
9 Jack Evans
Jack Evans signed with AEW in 2019 and made his debut at the company's inaugural Double Or Nothing PPV. He reunited with his AAA partner Angelico in AEW and formed the Hybrid2 tag team. He competed mostly in the tag team division and appeared on three consecutive PPVs for the company before getting pushed down to their tertiary shows in Dark and Dark: Elevation.
His only memorable matches for AEW include the AAA Mega Championship match against Kenny Omega and the Hair Vs. Hair match against Orange Cassidy. His run with the company got cut short after Tony Khan didn't renew Evans' contract after it expired on April 2022. Following his exit, Evans returned to the independent circuit but has drifted far away from the spotlight, making the fans almost forget about him.
8 AQA
Trained by Booker T, AQA made her pro wrestling debut in 2018 and competed predominantly in the independent circuit in her early years before getting an opportunity with WWE as part of NXT under the name Zayda Ramier. However, a medical emergency resulted in WWE disqualifying her from competing for the company, and she got released from her contract in November 2021.
She made her AEW debut in February 2022 under the name AQA and took on Jade Cargill for the TBS Championship in a losing effort. AEW used her only sporadically, and that too on episodes of Dark and Dark: Elevation. Despite signing an official contract with AEW, AQA announced her retirement from in-ring competition on July 2022 stating that wrestling has taken a toll on her mental and physical health.
7 Alan Angels
Alan Angels' AEW career began in 2020, and he soon went on to become part of the Dark Order faction under the name Five. However, he was one of the least important members of the group and wasn't allowed to compete on the main shows on most occasions.

He left AEW in June 2022 after the company didn't renew his contract, as Angles didn't accept a per-appearance deal. Angels stated that he was also unhappy with his direction in the company as he wanted to be a singles performer. He's now signed with Impact Wrestling but hasn't done anything to establish himself over there so far.
6 Jake Atlas
Jack Atlas is well-known for making an appearance with Stephanie McMahon on an episode of Celebrity Boss, which also resulted in his becoming an in-ring performer for WWE in NXT and 205 Live.
His stint with the company ended in 2021, and he even announced his retirement from in-ring competition to look after his mental health. But he came out of retirement to sign with AEW later the same year and competed in a few matches for the company, including one against Adam Cole on an episode of Rampage, in which he sustained a knee injury. AEW released him from his contract before he could make a return, and he's yet to make an appearance elsewhere.
5 Marko Stunt
Marko Stunt was one of the first wrestlers to sign with AEW following its inception in 2019 and made his in-ring debut for the company at the inaugural Double or Nothing PPV. He later aligned himself with Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus to form the Jurassic Express stable, and he continued to perform alongside his partners for most of his time in AEW.
However, the company didn't use him often on television, which sparked rumors among the fans that Stunt's AEW career might be going downhill. It turned out the same way when AEW chose not to renew his contract when it expired earlier this year, and Stunt has since returned to the independent scene but hasn't done anything to let his presence be felt among the fans.
4 Stu Grayson
Stu Grayson made his AEW debut at the 2019 Double or Nothing PPV alongside his long-time partner Evil Uno as The Dark Order. Grayson competed alongside the Dark Order as the group grew in numbers and continued to be part of the faction until his release from the company in May 2022.

AEW didn't renew his contract when it expired in May 2022, and Grayson returned to the Canadian independent circuit, where he performs to this date. He did make an appearance on AEW when Rampage took place in Canada in October 2022, but he hasn't done anything memorable to keep his name in the spotlight following his AEW exit.
3 Joey Janela
Joey Janela had a decent start to his AEW career in 2019, and he had great matches against the likes of Jon Moxley, Kenny Omega, and Darby Allin gave him favorable reviews from the fans.
But AEW cooled off on the idea of having Janela on the main shows often and had him compete mostly on episodes of Dark and Dark: Elevation. He wrestled his final match for the company in January 2022 before AEW chose not to renew his contract when it expired back in May 2022. He's now working mostly for promotions like DDT Pro Wrestling and GCW but is not able to make an impact like he did son during his early days in AEW.
2 Lio Rush
Lio Rush became a well-known name among wrestling fans during his time in WWE between 2017 and 2020. His stint as Bobby Lashley's on-screen manager and as the NXT Cruiserweight Champion made him a household name among the fans, but it didn't last for long as he got released as part of the company's budget cuts in April 2020.
AEW picked him up after his exit from WWE, and he made his debut at the 2021 Double or Nothing PPV as the Joker entrant in the Casino Battle Royal. But his AEW career didn't take off as expected, and he exited the promotion following the expiry of his contract in February 2022 and has since returned to the independent circuit.
1 Bobby Fish
Bobby Fish followed suit when his fellow Undisputed Era brother Adam Cole jumped ship from WWE to AEW. With Kyle O'Reilly also joining them in AEW, the original group reunited as the Undisputed Elite, and the fans expected the group to enjoy the same success they had in WWE.
However, things turned out to be different as AEW didn't show any interest in keeping Fish under contract and didn't renew it when it expired in August 2022. He's now part of Impact Wrestling, but the fans are not taking him seriously as a singles star as compared to his former teammates.
