Karrion Kross has been a dominant talent so far in NXT, and while he hasn't quite connected in the same way as many other stars, he is still doing a great job. Kross has put together some entertaining matches so far, but he's already being linked with a main roster move despite not being around for too long.

Kross would be a wise addition to either Raw or SmackDown. If he does go, the chances are that he will drop his NXT Title. With his run not quite working out so far, and plenty of talented wrestlers on the roster, there's a good chance that his time with the gold could be coming to an end soon.
10 Tommaso Ciampa
Tommaso Ciampa teaming up with Timothy Thatcher has been a lot of fun, and it has truly revitalized Ciampa again. However, there's no doubt that he still has a lot to offer in the singles division, and getting a run as a babyface champion would be excellent.
The passion of Ciampa meeting the determination of Karrion Kross is a recipe for huge success, and they could have a truly physical encounter that would leave everyone amazed, all while setting Ciampa back as a top singles star.
9 Adam Cole
Adam Cole is a consistent member of the NXT roster and has been involved in the main event scene from the moment that he arrived in WWE. That's something that doesn't need to change either, and now he's on his own it would be interesting to see him back involved in the title scene.
He is someone who would be able to help take NXT back to the heights that it has been at before. Cole is at the top of his game, and giving him another run with the NXT Championship would always be appreciated by the fans.
8 Roderick Strong
Speaking of the Undisputed Era, with the group now disbanded, Roderick Strong now has the chance to truly flourish on his own. He's a great talent who can put on amazing matches against anybody, and that would include Karrion Kross.

With Strong now having his own faction with Diamond Mine, there's a great chance that he could be set for a big push on his own. With other wrestlers behind him, Strong could become a top star in the main event scene.
7 Cameron Grimes
While Cameron Grimes was an effective heel, since turning into a babyface he has become even greater. Grimes as the millionaire has proven to be exactly what he needed, with his comedic work really striking with the fans.
Having a funny champion might not be the best idea for everyone, but this could be the way of making Grimes' babyface character a little more serious while capitalizing on his current momentum.
6 WALTER
WALTER making the move to the American brand is something that fans have wanted to see, and while he's popped up a couple of times, moving on full-time would be excellent. WALTER would gain a lot of attention to the show and he could be a truly dominant champion for the brand.

WALTER has done everything in NXT UK, and because of that, making the move would be the next logical step for him. There would be some major matches for him, with WALTER having not faced most of the wrestlers on WWE television so far.
5 Pete Dunne
Speaking of NXT UK, someone else who dominated that brand that deserves a big opportunity soon is Pete Dunne. He's pushed close to the NXT Championship in the past but is yet to capture the richest prize on the brand.
Dunne is somebody with major potential, and striking now would be the best decision possible. He has proven himself worthy of holding the title, having a solidified character and an excellent history of great matches on the big occasion, which this title demands.
4 Santos Escobar
Santos Escobar has stepped up massively in 2021 and became one of the most exciting talents on the roster. He might be a heel, therefore putting him up against Kross in a multi-man situation might be the right way to go.
He has built up a strong faction and that is something that can always be interesting when it comes to the NXT Championship. With Santos having people behind him to help him win, it would create some great storyline ideas.
3 Samoa Joe
While Samoa Joe has to be medically cleared to compete again, he would be a perfect wrestler to take the title from Karrion Kross. When Joe returned to NXT, Kross was the first man he confronted and the tension between them was something that audiences bought into.

Fans want to see this match happen and they're also desperate to see Joe step back into the ring. Having the former NXT Champion regain the title would gain massive interest in the brand, and it also opens up tons of fresh possibilities.
2 Bronson Reed
Bronson Reed has been working his way to the top of the NXT ladder for a long time with consistently excellent performances. Because of that, he's now in the position where he can be considered to be a contender for the NXT Championship.
Reed can legitimately match Karrion Kross in terms of power and physicality, and that makes him a true threat to the champion. Seeing them go back-and-forth would be an excellent match, and pushing Reed to the top of the card would be an excellent situation.
1 Kyle O'Reilly
Another great wrestler who has quickly become one of the top-tier talents in NXT this year is Kyle O'Reilly. After spending time in the shadows of Adam Cole during their time in Undisputed Era, O'Reilly has broken through as one of the top stars on the roster.
He's a terrific in-ring talent who brings a lot of passion and energy to his in-ring performances. Given that he would also be a fresh face to hold the NXT Championship, it would be a great move that fans could get behind.
