WWE currently boasts one of its strongest-ever rosters, from NXT to SmackDown and Raw, the company is jam-packed with talent. However, with so many great wrestlers and only a set amount of television time, not every wrestler ends up being booked to their best.

That leads to some wrestlers being shown in a different light than they deserve, not getting the right opportunities inside the ring or on the microphone. While the likes of Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns are pushed well, there are many other men on the roster that are booked poorly by WWE's current creative team, proving that not everything is perfect.
10 Omos
Considering the size of Omos, he is someone that WWE could book very easily as a monster, but the company doesn't seem to be willing to do that. He was brought back onto television to help establish what a true monster Braun Strowman is, but outside of that opportunities have been few and far between for him under the new regime.
The creative team doesn't seem to know the best way to get the most out of him, which is a shame because his size instantly makes him interesting. While Omos isn't the greatest in-ring worker, he offers something that few can compare with which is why he is compelling.
9 Angel Garza
Angel Garza is a talented wrestler, and someone who oozes charisma with his good looks. That is something that WWE is always looking for, yet even though he is right there on the roster he barely gets any opportunities inside the ring to showcase his talent regularly.

Garza is an easy character to book due to how much he leans into his aesthetics, with the likes of Rick Rude showcasing how well that can work in gaining heat. However, he spends most of his time in catering, not getting a chance to compete on television.
8 Elias
Elias might be somebody that does get a lot of opportunities on television, but that doesn't mean that he's well booked either. WWE never knows whether to make him a heel or keep him as a babyface, and that has led to his character chopping and changing regularly so fans can never truly connect.
He was then thrown into the Ezekiel character that was completely taken away from him despite the fact it was getting over with the crowd. There's a reason Elias is stuck in the same spot he has been for several years, and it is ultimately down to poor creative decisions.
7 Jinder Mahal
It's quite hard to believe that Jinder Mahal was once the WWE Champion for a lengthy period being the top heel in the entire company considering how he is booked nowadays. The creative for him has been a disaster for several years now, and that is why he barely gets used on television anymore.
Mahal has mainly been seen as a comedic character at times recently, and while that is a fine spot for him it has been a random change from how he was previously presented. There is an obvious lack of creative for him right now, which isn't a good sign for his future.
6 Maximum Male Models
The Maximum Male Models tag team featuring Mace and Mansoor is one that simply isn't working in the eyes of the WWE Universe, mainly because it is not very entertaining. The two men are good wrestlers and are certainly giving their best to the gimmick, but is not is going to help them in the long term.
The two men are seen as complete goofs because all they do is pose with ridiculous outfits on only to then be squashed when it comes to their in-ring work, which is why they're booked terribly.
5 Shelton Benjamin
Shelton Benjamin's booking has been inconsistent throughout the past year which is a shame because he is a man that has still got a lot to offer the business. He is a talented worker and someone who can create magic inside the ring when given the chance as he's still very athletic.

Since leaving The Hurt Business, Benjamin has been floundering and unable to find a spot on the card outside of appearances on Main Event. It is all down to how he has been booked, and unfortunately, that has been poor for the most part.
4 Shinsuke Nakamura
Shinsuke Nakamura is a great wrestler and somebody who oozes cool due to how he has been presented over the years. Whether it was his time in Japan or NXT, Nakamura has been shown almost like a rockstar with his hard-hitting style being something that fans can take seriously.
However, his main roster booking has been poor for the most part. His tag team with Rick Boogs was random but it did manage to get over, however since he got injured Nakamura has struggled on his own with a lack of focus being placed on him.
3 Dolph Ziggler
Dolph Ziggler is one of the veterans of the current roster, and he is somebody who has put together a brilliant career over the years that has been filled with amazing moments. However, recently he hasn't been pushed as a top-tier star outside of his appearances on NXT.
Ziggler has just been brought in randomly for forgettable short storylines over recent years without much purpose or long-term direction for him. WWE knows he can be relied upon for those moments, but his character doesn't have much specific character focus.
2 Scrypts
When WWE began teasing the idea of this mysterious character arriving in NXT fans built up the excitement and idea of who it would be, only for Scrypts to turn up. This is the former Reginald, who had taken up a few different roles on the main roster primarily involving the 24/7 Championship scene.

However, his gimmick in NXT is far too goofy for anybody to take seriously due to how he looks. The mask and outfit are poor, and seeing him flip around the ring doesn't work at all with the character he is trying to portray.
1 Mustafa Ali
Mustafa Ali is one of the most gifted performers on the current WWE roster, being someone who can put together amazing in-ring performances while cutting incredible promos. He has proven at various points in his career he has what it takes to bring the fans on the journey with him and make them care, but the company hasn't committed to him.
There have been times when he's almost ended up leaving WWE only to stick around, but the way he is booked isn't good enough. Ali is often just shown in backstage segments or he is thrown into the ring to put someone over, rather than being a focal part of the show as he deserves.
