While the promotion has enjoyed its ups and endured its downs over its near two-decade history, Impact Wrestling (formerly known as TNA) has never had a shortage of talent, especially when it comes to champions. Just off the top of one’s head, an Impact fan could rattle off a number of great and memorable title holders, including Kurt Angle, Gail Kim, AJ Styles, James Storm, Taya Valkyrie, and countless others.

But not every champ is carved into the annals of history. There are some wrestlers in the company who held titles -- even for impressive reigns -- but have since gone forgotten. Without further ado, let’s take a look at 10 of Impact’s former champions from its various divisions and see just what they’re up to these days.
10 Sarita
Canadian wrestler Sara Stock is best known to lucha libre fans as Dark Angel in the AAA promotion, but in Impact, she was Sarita, a member of the stable Mexican America. Over the course of her 2009 to 2013 run with Impact, she became a two-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion -- once with Taylor Wilde and once with her Mexican America partner Rosida (a.k.a. Zelina Vega). In 2015, she signed with WWE as a trainer in developmental, where she worked until her COVID-era furlough and subsequent release in 2020.
9 Bram
Previously Kenneth Cameron, an early member of WWE’s The Ascension, Bram came to Impact in 2014 and scored a month-long reign as King of the Mountain Champion, the title formerly known as the TV Title, the Global Title, and Legends Title before that. After leaving the company in 2017, Bram’s wrestled for the National Wrestling Alliance under his real name of Thom Latimer. There, he’s a member of fellow Impact alum Nick Aldis’ stable Strictly Business and held the NWA World Tag Title alongside Royce Isaacs.
8 Tigre Uno
One of Impact’s few consistent lucha libre talents, Tigre Uno wrestled in Mexico as Extreme Tiger, where he’s a two-time AAA Cruiserweight Champion and a two-time AAA Tag Team Champion. In Impact, he enjoyed a 200-day run as X Division Champion before his departure in 2016.

Since then, Tigre Uno -- now back to his old ring name -- has wrestled all over Mexico, wrestling for AAA, The Crash, and occasionally for American promotions like Major League Wrestling.
7 Doug Williams
Simultaneously the most decorated wrestler on this list and the most underrated, the technically proficient Doug Williams is a two-time X Division Champion as well as a former TNA Tag Team Champion alongside his British Invasion partner Brutus Magnus (a.k.a. Nick Aldis). Williams is a veteran of the sport, having debuted in 1993. Since his departure from Impact in 2013, he’s wrestled at the various British indie promotions like RevPro and Fight Club Pro, as well as occasionally fighting bouts in Japan’s Pro Wrestling NOAH.
6 Anarquia
The aforementioned heel stable Mexican America lasted about a year, though both the male and female halves of the group ended up being tag team champions. In 2011, Hernandez and the lesser-known Anarquia had a near 100-day run as TNA Tag Team Champions before dropping the belts to Crimson and Matt Morgan. Soon enough, Anarquia would be sent back to developmental in Ohio Valley Wrestling, made an unsuccessful bid to recapture the titles in 2012, and then leave the company shortly after. Aside from a single match in 2015 and one in 2021, Anarquia seems to be largely retired and working for the city of Santa Rosa, New Mexico.
5 Lacey Von Erich
The real-life daughter of the legendary Kerry Von Erich, Lacey Von Erich had only a year-long run with Impact from 2009 to 2010, but a pretty eventful one. She’d not only join the Beautiful People faction, but she’d become Knockouts Tag Team Champion alongside stablemates Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne thanks to the Freebird Rule. Von Erich hasn’t wrestled since her final match for Impact in 2010, but is still active in the business, working with the Texas-based promotion SWE Fury as Director of Media Relations.
4 Consequences Creed
After signing with Impact in 2007, Consequences Creed found himself unsuccessfully challenging for the X Division Title but would find success teaming with Jay Lethal as Lethal Consequences, scoring a 26-day run as TNA World Tag Team Champion. However, it would be the only title reign Creed would enjoy before his release in 2010.

However, Consequences Creed signed with WWE mere months later and would go on to find success as Xavier Woods of The New Day -- easily one of the company’s most popular teams ever. As a result, Woods’ stint with Impact can be seen by many as a prelude to greater things.
3 Crimson
One of the many failed “homegrown” talents in Impact, fans likely remember Crimson but may not remember he actually held the TNA Tag Team Titles alongside Matt Morgan. Since departing the company in 2013, Crimson has been a frequent presence on the indies, often wrestling for former Impact developmental promotion Ohio Valley Wrestling. While much of his recent bouts have been for the rebooted National Wrestling Alliance, Crimson has also made some under-the-radar appearances for Impact, doing the job on minor shows like the now-defunct Xplosion.
2 Hamada
The daughter of the legendary Gran Hamada -- who pioneered the hybrid Japanese lucha libre style -- Ayako Hamada spent 2009 to 2010 in Impact and left as a two-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion alongside Taylor Wilde and Awesome Kong. While she never exactly was able to put on a classic match in the Impact Zone, in the years since, Hamada has wrestled all over Mexico and Japan. A drug charge in 2018 stalled her career in the latter, but she’s continued to wrestle in Mexico in the years since, making her return to AAA in 2019.
1 Rob Terry
Otherwise known as “Big Rob,” former WWE developmental wrestler Rob Terry is best remembered by Impact fans for his runs as part of The British Invasion, The BroMans, and as “The Freak” in The Menagerie. But it was very early in his Impact run that he won his only title with the promotion, defeating Eric Young for the TNA Global Championship. The Welsh performer was gone from the company by 2015 but continued to wrestle on the Florida indies until 2019, after which he seems to have focused on a career as a bodybuilding personality.
